I thought Wiggins was back to solid with UF?

I assume this would increase the price tag?

Can't sleep so I'm watching Driskell's latest video from this past afternoon.

So.

He believes NDs class will finish with the 23 guys that they have, but believes they will add one flip on Wednesday. Didn't rule out Faraimo as "ND is still trying to close on a '25 kid.... right now not feeling great on it but not a done deal."

Flip could mean Wiggins, but my hunch is that it is someone we don't know.

I hope we have a couple surprises on ESD that the beat is completely unaware of. It's been a minute since we have had a surprise on ESD so I don't think it's too greedy to ask for two.

Would be really our of left field if we landed some surprise recruits. At this point Faraimo would be a big surprise commitment

I realize that it’s human nature to complain, we all do it. We all want the recruiting classes to be number 1 every year. Even down here there were complaints every year on the Alabama classes when Saban was the coach because the fans never got all the players they wanted the staff to land. Since none of us really know or totally understand the inner workings of how CFB recruiting works in the current NIL era, it‘s nearly impossible gauge what is going on behind the scenes. If you were able to sit down with the ND staff, what REAL solutions or ideas would the IE faithful offer up?

Composite #1 kicker in the country. Great flip.

It is just 10.

Only 1 in the top 100.

And that’s a tackle that’s at least 2 years from playing.

Sorry, you’re right. 10 in the Top 24/7 but 11 as 24/7 four-stars.

Also 13 24/7 composite four-stars.

That’s your opinion on Black, which may only be the case if ND feels it has two entrenched starters for another two years at OT.

I think there’s got to be some realization among us as a group that there needs to be some nuance to high school recruiting. We probably are going to need to offer something up front to entice top tier talent to commit and eventually sign. However, at some point you hit a point of diminishing return where you’ve got a value on a player or position that you aren’t willing to exceed. I’m tired of seeing “We gOt OuTbId” without anyone knowing what our offer even was. You can’t get in a bidding war over every recruit.

Let’s see some data in 2-3 more years on the rate of these guys who sign for initial upfront NIL and if they’re still with their original team. My money says the majority won’t be.
