Marc Edwards was basically the embodiment of the FB archetype. I think he's the reason so many ND fans mourn the disappearance of fullbacks.

Oh yeah, I mean look at the picture:
- Calves thicker than the football
- Blue collar name and facemask
- Knee pads installed & Hip pads prominently displayed outside of jersey
- Mouth piece in place 'cause he knows he's hitting someone and then they are hitting the ground

All he needs is a UAV to follow him around with the "Beware of Flying Trojans" sign

I've always said... Until ND gets into the 93+ Team APR, they will not be a yearly threat to win it all.

BUT

NIL & the Portal has weakened the elites. If ND commits to the running the ball with the 3 headed monster, NO ONE is blowing out this team. We probably go home but we don't go home embarrassed.

I agree. It also should’ve been a layup with 90% of the wide receiver recruits, but that hasn’t been the case.

don't know how a defensive recruit from the 25 or 26 class at the game couldn't be impressed with Golden's defensive staff and not want to at least consider playing for the irish

Two of those teams have major issues on offense, and have lost to teams worse than ND.

The other two...OSU is a good matchup for us, they aren't great against the run and we can combat their strength with our Pass Defense. LSU isn't even close to contending and have as porous a defense as I've seen from a ranked team in years.
