B Shrewsberry definitely plays like he’s the coach’s son. Chucks up bullshit most of the time, with zero danger of losing his spot because his dad won’t do that.

Watching the Irish play and I can’t help but wonder how much better they would be if Tae Davis hadn’t left after last year. He’s exactly what they are missing…a tall, athletic forward who can create his own scoring opportunities. Then I flip on ESPN and see him playing for Oklahoma. Sorry if I missed this…but why did he transfer? He’s on a worse team and is playing less minutes and scoring less points than he did last year.

I haven't heard/seen where he commented on it anywhere, but he also entered the draft, so odds are it was a money situation for his last season of college hoops.

Putting his son in iso when he’s ice cold? Interesting move.

That turnover from Shrewsberry with a minute to go was brutal.
Yeah but the NBA range 3 by Certa on the next play was HUGE! Make one stop here and then make your free throws and the game is over.

Are we going to get a bad foul, the unfortunate current trademark of the Shrewsberry years in close games?

I don’t understand why, out of a timeout, the best they can do with 8 seconds left in a tie game is throw the ball back to our side of the court and let Certa dribble full court for a running 3 attempt.

That’s the weak spot now for the team, the only other guy that can dribble in iso can’t shoot free throws - they were looking to foul him with just over a minute to go.

Edit** another weak spot

Re-edit ; reverse jinx into 2/2 at the line lol

Is MacLellan hurt? Why not let him have some minutes, he's played well enough when given the chance and he has size.

And another horrid inbounds play out of a timeout. Awesome.

But at least Imes is getting some run to help with the size disadvantage.

I sincerely hope you are joking

The part where you’re confused on why Macellan isn’t playing

At the time of the post, Towt and Sundra had already fouled out and Koehler had 4 fouls. He played well.enough when Towt was in foul trouble against VT and UNC. Someone needs to be able to body de Ridder. IDK what to tell you other than that isn't Logan Imes.
