lol of course they do.

I’d love to see bama travel across the Mason Dixon line for once but God better make it an Ice bowl level snow storm of the century.

And I’ll say this too if we get a home playoff game in November ND fans better not be selling their tickets to bama fans just to make some money.

It’ll actually be December. Even better

Hosting Bama would be fun and all, but being seeded 5, 7 or 8 all feel like an easier path to the semifinals.

How would ticket allocation be for a playoff game?

Ideal spot is to get B12 champ in quarterfinals. We'd be favored, so all the pundits could pick us to lose and call it their "upset special".

I think today’s results were fine for Nd. Get Clemson out of the way. Iowa state was always fraudulent. Penn state could still get in and I would invite that as a first round matchup. Aggies losing hurts a little, but we need to win out anyway.

Agree. Winning out kind of locks us into the 8 or 9 spot.

TBH, I’d like our chances better going somewhere hostile for a night game instead of hosting a wake at 3:30.

I know we have gameday issues for lackluster games, but I promise you this is not an issue for big games. Especially a playoff game.

Wonder what the fans saying ”aTm would beat ND in a rematch b/c of dual threat QB” are saying now? LOL

Penn State should have let James Franklin run off to USC the first chance they had. They're absolutely stuck with him and it's glorious.

Down 13-6 to unranked Florida, UGA player scores a TD and does the Gator Chomp, gets a taunting penalty. We are living in the dumbest of times.

SMU rolls our guy Narduzzi.

Google Curt Cignetti.

I quit refereeing DIV III & HS Football a few years ago during the pandemic (severely pulled groin muscle actually did me in). Anyway, as a Line Judge, it was our responsibility to uphold the Referee's comments to the HC's before every game that certain things would not be tolerated such as taunting, disrespecting any coach, etc, etc,... But some of the frivolous calls I see made and some of the most blatant holding, PIs both offensive and defensive that are missed is crazy!!! Referees are paid a ridiculous amount of money and some take it for granted. I did Three games a week... travel time usually 100 mile radius of Nashville. I was averaging $1500 a week. FBS refs make on average the same amount plus a stipend for travel, meals and hotels all exclusive per game. A crew is supposed to be evaluated every two weeks - I don't see that happening; can't be with what I see being called and not called watching these games. The Gator Chomp was not directed towards any FL player - idotic call IMO.

Ive heard comments during random broadcasts and seems obvious they are having trouble filling those positions

HS is worse... especially in Soccer, Baseball and in some counties Football. Since the pandemic it has gotten worse. If not for my injury, and I'll be 60 in a few years, I would still be doing it. It's fun, I do it for the kids and the excitement.... the money was used for vacations and my toys - 65 F100, 66 Mustang, 76 C10 and 38 Plymouth. :)

If I recall, the player also did a "throat slash" motion. I figured this is what drew the call.

I didn't see that... we disqualified a player for that motion. It was one thing our Crew-Leader (head Ref) would NOT tolerate.

Thank you very much. I still work on the board of Youth Sports in TN. I work with UpWard Sports in the Christian community as well as assigning referees for Soccer, Softball and Baseball. I severely sprained/pulled my groin muscle.... took almost three weeks just to walk right and still wasn't healed until about three/four months later to just fast-walk/jog

My neighbor is in the same boat as you and says the same. Side note…he says that he ran Brian Kelly from a game at GVST. Not sure if that’s true but today he’s chain gang for the Colts. He comes over after each home game and we talk Colts. Brought me some Dwight Clark stuff the weekend before last.

Apparently, refereeing is a taxing job. They must be in shape like the players. Guy who works for me is a HS ref too, I let him off early a few times a week to workout

I'm 6'1" and 225lbs.... I would love to know what they have been feeding kids since the 1980s!!! I did an invitational in DFW/Arlington TX area back in 2014.... This was a HS event and the kids were as big as the DIV III kids.... the stadiums (HS) were top-tier and immaculate. AT&T was maybe 4 or 5 years old and the championship was played there... didn't get to make it but.....

Anyway, the goal was to try and move to FBS/FCS - basically DIV I.... but, when I saw what it was going to take and how much time it would take away from my family, I couldn't do it. I would estimate almost 80% of all NFL and DIV I refs of any type (unless local refs like 'chain gang' and down/ball markers) are business owners, lawyers, Company 'Brass' to be able to Travel and take the time to Ref.

Upon further review, it actually looks like he might be trying to do the homerun swing but his teammate held his other hand back.

He could have simulated curing a fucking leper. They were down to unranked Florida. Temper the enthusiasm a bit.
