I believe he was at the Stanford game. Which yeah. Kinda says it all. McClellan too, but ND seems to be sitting better with him. Still need to get him back for at least an OV.

They went on a five game win streak after Stanford. As horrible as that was for anyone with eyesight to have watched in person or otherwise, if he's drifting off because of that then I'm cool with him drifting off.

Does ANYONE take a shot below the belt at UGA with Justin Scott and bring up Jalen Carter's evident demise?

I don't know exactly how the process works, but in most programs, position coaches submit offers to the coordinators and the HC has the final sign off.

My hope is O'Leary is analyzing a lot of safeties and pushing prospects he deems worthy to Al Golden both early and often.

If Longo is the OC, Fickell doesn't intend to run the Barry Alvarez offense anymore. Those big dudes beyond the Cheddar Wall are going to need somewhere to go if they want to play in a running offense.

Marcus Freeman of House Irish says he wants to run the football.

Gotta think that after all these spring visits, we should see a run of commits soon. It’s been slow since the start of the year.

OL Board is really taking shape. This has to be a 5 man class right? With Jones and soon to be Knapp in the fold, you have your interior for this class, especially after 2023 having a bunch of interior and tweeners. Lambert seems likely. I don't think he's even visited anywhere this past fall or spring and ND is his only visit. ND is seemingly in the top group for Grant Brix, Andrew Sprague, Kevin Heywood, Styles Prescod, and Caleb Brewer. With losing Alt and Fisher a serious possibility after this year, I hope they load up on tackles.

It would appear so.

Jones, Lambert, Prescod, Brewer and Lambert would round it all out. I really want Lambert to sign now more than ever if Sprague is going to Michigan. I don't think they can pry Brix and Heywood, which is fine as these five would do quite nicely in the end.

I like the Smith twins. Think they're good ballplayers. But watching the hudl vids of some of off these longer, twitchier dlinemen makes me hesitate.

Kellen Lindstrom, Loghan Thomas, Marquise Lightfoot, Cameron Clark, Mylachi Williams, Bryce Young, Darien Mayo, Benedict Umeh, and TJ Lindsey.

Give me three or four of these guys to go with Justin Scott and Owen Wafle and im good....

Also, even tho he's a long shot, Elijah Rushing will take an offical in June....

100%. Give me guys who are five star players when they leave as opposed to arrive. The long armed, lean DL guys don't always start out as the can't miss five star blue chips coming out of high school.

ND has had it's share of the hard hat, lunch bucket grinder DL that have nice careers in college and a decent cup of coffee in the League. The athletic, fast twitch types are part of what they need to close the chasm between them and a Championship.

I mean, that's a little crazy, even for me and I always want to find the space.

But, If they were to commit in the above order, then I can see it.

However, if for some reason they commit in this order:

Wafle
Young
Scott
Umeh

Then I don't see any reason to take the twins. At that point, I'd want to focus the space on Mayo, Thomas, Okoye, Mylachi Williams, Lindsey, Nigel Smith, JJA, etc.
