I don't think Umeh being unable to visit this week is indication he's slipping.

Sounds like there was logistical problems that forced him to cancel, since he couldn't get a ride. Apparently was hitching a ride with Traore, but it sounds like he's not gonna make it either. (Correction: That was why Lambert couldn't make it. However, it sounds like Umeh was also having issues getting travel arrangements. He had to cancel a PSU visit prior to this because of travel issues).

That being said, I'm also confused about the Smith talk. I've heard Jerod might be leaning towards Michigan. I have not heard that regarding Jacob. It's very possible that one prefers ND and the other prefers Michigan. Frankly, I'll gladly take that if we end up with Jacob.

Also, if ND ends up with Rushing or Jacob Smith, along with Mullins, that makes Umeh a bit less of a priority.

That would be a huge mistake. His upside is several tiers above that of anyone on our board outside of Rushing, and maybe Scott.

ISD update had him setting an official for June 16th so while expected he would take one to ND, I like they have one of the later OVs.

I'll take that class every year. Checks all the boxes. 5 star, big, fast boundary in Canion, dynamic slot guy in Robinson. Gilbert is the wildcard. He's a notch beliw the others, imo. But he has some 4 star tools and he's a teammate of Young.

Very good. Can understand Mosley wanting to carve his own path. Works just as fine as Williams, McClellan, Wingo and Mosley as far as I'm concerned. All four guys can ball and Robinson, Gilbert and Canion come from key recruiting regions ND will continue to lay roots in.
