Updated standings, and a quick shoutout to @General Colon Bowel and @SeekNDestroy for getting off to a perfect 3-0 start to lead the way.

No shortage of competition behind them, with 16 posters tied for second at 2 points.

It's hard to believe that Jim McElwain is already in his 5th season in Mt. Pleasant. That's right, in case you forgot, that's the same guy who followed up Will Muschamp's tenure in Gainsville, FL and only survived 2.5 seasons.

I think ND will start a little slow in this one given the look ahead to pOSU, but they will get the ball rolling in the second quarter amid a bit of a tense atmosphere, leading only 10-3 after the first.

J Love is going to rip off a long TD of 70+ yards to kickstart this offense, and Sam Hartman will toss two more TDs (3 total) to give the Irish a 31-3 lead going into halftime, and the 2s take it from there.

CMU's athletic QB will make life a little frustrating for the backup D, and he'll manufacture two scoring drives in the 2nd half, one TD and a FG.

Angeli and the second stringers will also match that with a 10 point second half effort, giving the Irish the victory, with a final score of 41-13. The final score won't feel too impressive, as CMU will cover, but we will all chalk it up to a comfortable win while looking ahead to one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, game of the season.

Go Irish, beat Chippewas.

Kids are spending the day with the grandparents, so I'm going tailgating. Hopefully ill be back home before kickoff and we put this away early so I can nap during the second half.

ND will win comfortably with a couple of late scores allowing CMU to cover. ND 49 CMU 20 with another perfect first half from Sam Hartman scoring 35 points.

Can I get a mod to update the poll option, second form the top, to 46-51? My mistake, we have two options at 45 points, and it looks like I'm not able to edit the poll options, personally.

51-17. We blow the doors off them for 2-3 quarters. 3rd and 4th stringers give up some late points. Don't quite cover the spread. The team is well rested for it's Home tilt against OSU.

First ND game I’m going to miss in about 20 years. This Peacock thing is so stupid. Going to watch IU/Louisville in person instead…

The offense continues to do its thing. Something that hasn’t been talked about, yet, is that this Irish offense has found its identity very early in the season. I don’t think they found an identity at all last year. Sam Hartman continues to find his guys. Estime gets a light workload, as Price/Love get a majority of the carries.

On defense, it’s the third week in a row facing a mobile QB. They force him into throwing multiple picks. Starters sit out most of the second half.

Notre Dame: 48
Central Michigan: 13

This weeks slate of NCAA games is pretty crappy. I’m not spending any extra cash to watch CMU-ND. I’ll watch the replay after.

NBC is going to shot themselves in the foot if they try to put all these games on Peacock (not even the big games) people are starting to wonder what will be coming down the road.

Shutout. 45-0
I wish, but with the 2nd & 3rd string D in the game during the 4th qtr with a huge lead (again, I hope) spells for a few misreads by the ones still "learning" their full assignments. Doubt that there will be a shut out, but I hope that I'm wrong!

Did we leave a certain poster off the list?
No sir! IE only lets me upload small files so I can't make the screenshots too large, so I just take one of the top of the leaderboard, and I sort each point total in ABC order. You're there at 2, I promise!
