10-2, losses to OSU and Pittsburgh causing the board to become insufferable as the same group of "realists" will discount the wins over Clemson and USC because of a let down game.

12-0 Georgia declines a playoff invite to play ND in the Orange bowl and beats ND 55-0. Michigan plays in the NC game after beating Colorado 13-7 in the semi finals.

Jk - ND beats Oklahoma in the Bowen Beatdown Bowl with Hartman targeting PB on multiple deep shots. Merriweather says "Sco ducks sco ducks" after each catch.

10-3, almost went 9-4. Lots of unproven guys, but I guess that's college football. Not sold on Freemans coaching, in game or game prep, though love Freeman the man. Hartman is an upgrade which is the only reason I'm predicting double digit wins.

Drinking the Kool Aid. I believe this will be a somewhat special season in terms of notching a TRUE big ticket victory.

We beat Ohio State, and MF becomes the first coach since Lou to capture a memorable victory that survives the test of time.

We haven’t seen one in quite awhile, and it will be a nice break from “ND never wins big games”.
