And talent evaluatorYes, and those issues are Rees being a terrible recruiter.

That’s quite the view considering he has a 5 star in the 2024 class committedIF Rees is planning on moving on to the NFL, does he really care about getting a high quality 2023 QB?

Bo Edmudson & MSU part ways; Spartans will re-pursue 5-Star QB
Earlier today, the Michigan State Spartans and former QB commit Bo Edmundson publicly parted ways. The Austin (TX) Lake Travis product announced his departure from247sports.com
“Spartan Tailgate sources were notified last week that MSU was looking to move in this direction for a period of time now, but the staff wanted to let Edmundson to come to the same conclusion on his own and take his time making the subsequent announcement.”
“I'm hearing that MSU will begin by going to great lengths to attempt to flip 2023 five-star QB Dante Moore, a Detroit (MI) King product who is currently committed to Oregon. Obviously, this won't be an easy task and expectations should be tempered. Not only are there justifiably enticing incentives available to Moore if he were to enroll at Oregon, but the Ducks have also had a lot of success during the 2022 season. On the other hand, sources emphasized that MSU won't go down without exhausting every resource here.”
Uhhhhh a lot to unpack here from the MSU site.

Loy says noGood luck with that, Sparty.
Is Bo Edmundson worth taking a run at? He's tall and from Texas like all our WRs...
Wasn't a decommit. The timing of an MSU QB decommit is rather interesting. Rough week for those jagweeds.
He is purchasable. It's whether they put up the cash or not. Of all the Big10 schools, MSU is the dirtiest and wouldn't surprise me at all if they start buying players.Good luck with that, Sparty.

i havent really seen a reason to. because he was once committed to a regional P5 school we should be interested? Why in God's name not?
Because he is tall and probably has a good arm???Why in God's name not?
Rees is still all in on Moore.Because he is tall and probably has a good arm???

He's not a capable high school qb. This one isn't the answerBecause he is tall and probably has a good arm???
I know absolutely nothing about this kid, was just making a joke. Should have put it in italics. However I did see in the article that Michigan St pushed him out, so that should be a sign. He's not a capable high school qb. This one isn't the answer
1 - i obvoiusly dont know if Carr is reclassifying or not. So we may or may not have a qb.That or the fact that
WE HAVE NO FING QB
Either that or you were joking. I don't know, but you can't be serious or didn't watch his film.
IIRC, someone posted fairly recently that ISD was convinced Carr will not reclassify and remain in 2024. If he were to reclassify I think you only take him. Carr would make 5 QB's on scholarship next year along with Pyne, Buchner, Angeli, and RP3, and considering that we badly need a grad transfer I can't see them also taking a 2nd QB in the class and having 7 QB's on scholarship next year.1 - i obvoiusly dont know if Carr is reclassifying or not. 1a - even if he does i still think its worth taking a second guy
There was also the recent hinting about a QB prospect that everyone assumed meant reclassification.IIRC, someone posted fairly recently that ISD was convinced Carr will not reclassify and remain in 2024. Whoa. "Parting of ways."Wasn't a decommit.
He got benchedWhy in God's name not?
Like, on his high school team?He got benched
In some ways I would respect that more than whatever the hell Rees is doing now. It's ridiculous he can't get a QB with our O-line.Rees is still all in on Moore.
Are we sure RP3 has a football scholly? I’m thinking since RP is an ND staff member, RP3 may have a different type of scholarship that doesn’t count against the 85 limit.RP3 is typical ND nepotism - albeit nothing compared to Rees - and is a waste of a scholarship.
YesLike, on his high school team?
Damn.
He injured his back and it seems he’s never been the same
