I haven’t read the article but they did a BBQ or cookout on the fieldin the stadium for some of the OV’s. I read some good reviews of it.

Gotcha.... I just read a lot of tweets talking about schools holding a BBQ usually for unofficial visits. Think OU did one recently as did Ohio St

Not sure what OSU did but OUs was definitely a bigger atmosphere type event. Had former players in town whole vibe to it. Not sure what we can expect of this but Singer was definitely presenting as different than normal, likely in a effort I’d guess to convince kids to choose ND for that weekend since everyone will be wanting to get kids to campus on that open weekend

LeBlanc is a 2023 Top 100 DL with offers from everyone. Robinson and Speca the PA kids back again. ND’s ability to get the absolute elite to campus in 2023 already is incredible. Bowen replicate getting Vernon to campus for a second time?

Carolina sauce is divided. South Carolina is ketchup based, North is vinegar based. Give me a mix.

it’s a bit more subtle but you can find all three and they generally have much less sugar than all other regional recipes. Each of these are more tangy than say Midwest styles. NC has two styles.

Michigan’s BBQ in the Big House is the 31st, OSU is having BBQ on 29th, not sure if it’s supposed to be the magnitude of their traditional FNL. I don’t know entirely what the thought process behind 27th was but guys like Derrick Lablanc for example are doing all three. Somehow neither OSU or Michigan keep a master visit list like Loy does. I wonder if there is some behind the scenes between schools coordination. Reality is some guys might visit ND mainly because they’re already making it up to the Midwest for OSU or vice versa, and scheduling over each other means you’ll certainly win some but also lose some visitors.

If those sites post a list could also be useful in cross referencing the O and D prospects. See if for some reason they are D heavy too, or are their offensive guys visiting one of them but not us.

Damn. Was hoping they'd skip on Anthony Brown like they did Saunders.

Shame there's no love connection between TJ Shanahan and JQ, same for Nico and Tommy. They are my favorite players in the class.

Del putting in some names, Rees has Moore coming. Lance Taylor maybe has evaded some criticism on 2023 guys because that board isn’t pretty at the moment
