I should prolly pump the brakes a bit but I'm starting to buy in with Fischer at LT. Granted based off of limited clips, he looks pretty natural out there. One clip showed him knocking down the hands and burying whomever he was engaged with. It'll be interesting to watch the spring game and see how he looks live.

Practice tends to make DL look better. Probably working on technique more than scheme. Guy to the Left and Right is different every day. Guys themselves working at different positions every day. No Patterson. There is too many reasons to not dwell on the OL in these videos. It won’t win the Moore Award, but the OL will not be an issue come Week 1

He looks like a safety on tape which makes me wonder if he's playing some of the nickel spot to get a more physical presence closer to the line of scrimmage.

Tough to tell but it looked like in the back to back clips that the TFL happens in, the Offense is operating from the Left hash and he’s at CB on the short side with Lewis on other side. They probably rolled the coverage and he came on a CB blitz, Freeman loves a CB blitz

Fisher is clearly out there in a position battle... what I’m wondering is if Spindler is already starting to look like a real option at guard and is out there battling for a spot, or if he’s one of the mid-year guys that BK mentioned is getting minutes as a reward for the early-enrollment.

I wouldn’t think it’s a coincidence that Spindler and Fisher are both playing with the one’s right now, especially when you can see that the group lead by Coan and Kyren seems to be more regular with each set of clips, and that’s the group they’re with right now... and there are veteran guys that would normally be in those spots early in the Spring.

BUT, BK has been more open about repping the frosh... so idk lol

I think he's still at CB, which is where NDI has him slotted.

Been hearing hype about Spindler since day 1. I'm starting to believe too. I'm getting a Q vibe.

Nice to see Hart flash. I speculated previously that I feel good about Hart in Freeman’s scheme. It may not be full time boundary CB but he’s a well put together DB with length. 6’2 1/2 is the tallest DB outside of Hamilton. He should play well somewhere.

DL seems ready to go. Jayson Ademilola is my breakout DL. He’s going to be a full timer at 3T and ready to wreck. So much depth of big, physical, and explosive dudes. I am interested to see if anyone pushes Hinish because I think there could be.

I was pretty much there already but I’ve bought into Kelly’s thoughts on the WR’s. There really is a lot of talent in this group and some of them will stake their claim by the time we play FSU. And, Mayer is a 3 year player so here comes the 2nd year.

A little concerned about the OL. I think there should be more urgency to finding a starting lineup.

I'm sure some was injury, some was behavior, some was Book, some was having a good OL and bad ass running game... Feels like this year the stars might align. Part of me thinks though that BK is just airing it now to be able to get a feel of the QBs, but will go back conservative when the season comes and he's made his decision on QB...

Not worried about being urgent on the OL. He's using the time to see what he has. And I love him taking time and giving reps to the young pups. And some of those young pups might make a nice jump after working out over the summer. I think he knows a few obvious starters (obvious to him), but is wanting to keep the competition going over the summer, and will nail lineups early when pre-season practice starts. I'm about ready to lay some money down on Rocco.

Yep, BK has said before that spring is the time to give the newbies and those that didn’t play much last year their reps. Find our what they can do and what areas they need work on.
