Just noticed this morning that 247 didn't put his "commitment" to LSU on his profile. So I looked into it and I think it's a TJ Sheffield committing to ND sorta situation.

LSU's side is saying the staff never accepted his commitment. In any event, that's good news for other suitors but I'm not sure if one of those other suitors will ultimately be ND.

Found the next Rover/Buck Lea should look at. Jackson Hamilton from Blessed Trinity Catholic in GA. Same HS as JD Bertrand. Mostly plays SS/OLD and RB. Hasn't blown up yet, but will. Cannot find testing numbers anywhere but he does all the right things on film. May be a little short for Rover/Buck but he makes up for it in coverage skills. Has a Virginia offer only.

What does the D line board look like and how many positions are there? Rubio is a great building block, and he's IDL. There's the kid from Jersey, the SDE who will probably grow into 3 Technique. So that's another position they want to fill, or do they ideally want an actual SDE? Then at least one more guy, looks like Vyper from all the recent offers.

Pretty sure the staff was just through BT. Hopefully they bumped into Fr. RB Justice Haynes. He basically took Hamilton's spot in the backfield and put up something towards 2000 yards on the way to another state championship.

We will see. I cannot find any good great Buck prospects in 2021 that I think ND could land pretty easily. So i started looking at big safety/athletes instead. Seems there are more of them and Mikes than Bucks.

Reesus was in town to Zakee Wheatley*, out of Archbishop Spalding in MD. Kid looks like a PSU lean right now but has offers from BC, Duke, Vandy, NW, etc. Can play WR or DB. He looks like he is a little raw but a great athlete. Has good after the catch skills at WR and is pretty fluid and heady on defense. Can also lay the wood. Interested to see if ND offers and at what position.
