More prospects to know:

Sammy Anderson's heating up. In the last month added IU, Pitt, Duke & Michigan (today). Coached by former Bears WR Jeff Graham who unfortunately went to Ohio St.

Marcus Libman is not only Tosh Baker's BFF but he's a highly productive & versatile WR at Pinnacle HS. As Spencer Rattler's favorite target, he had 72/1350/15 TD's. Don't expect much drop off with Michigan commit, JD Johnson. Libman is unrated and unoffered right now. That's a crime and it will change.

Trey Paster reports contact with ND. Big DB/WR, 11.2 100m, 33 Tkl / 3 Int / 1 P6. One to watch. UCLA/Cal/AZ offers.

247 never reported it back in November, but Landen Bartleson was offered. He has 11 offers, lives about 5-6 hours away, and I believe is being recruited at RB. He is coming to campus this weekend. Looks like Jutahn McClain and Bartleson will make two local dudes coming into town this weekend for Lance Taylor to meet. Hopefully they can get Reggie Love and Michael Drennen II back on campus as local guys in short order as well. I hope for ND to land any one of the big 6 dudes in my book. MarShawn Lloyd, Chris Tyree, Bijan Robinson, Seth McGowan, Michael Drennen II, and Tirek Murphy. All have over 25 offers, all are consensus 4 star or 5 star recruits on every recruiting site, and all have some serious talent from what I see in their HUDL highlights.

247 reporting that Landen is being recruited, at least initially, as a DB.

Word on the street is there's trouble in paradise with Darvon Hubbard and OSU. I heard towards the end of the season that OSU was backing off of him. His (former) teammate is their prized QB for '20, Jack Miller. Hard to ghost someone when your QB is also committed and not getting ghosted. Then comes this, his family is said to have moved 40 miles of Chaparral HS so he transferred. I've also heard he's trying to get into IMG.

Seems like if all things were cool, this wouldn't have happened.

I've seen Hubbard in countless interviews and he is well spoken. I've seen him play and he's worthy of all of the offers he received. Is this something ND could get involved with if the smoke matches the fire? He's originally from Akron btw.

I wish sometimes recruits would just say that a school is basically dropping them.

Wouldn't that be nice... especially if it's the factories.

In Hubbard's case, he was injured (or maybe the "injury" was a falling out with the team/staff or a suspension of sorts?), was driving 40 miles in traffic each way to school and maybe had a falling out with his HS/college QB - Jack Miller cuz Miller's only muggin on social media with the the R's now a days... Robinson, Ransom & Ringo.

I don't know where the hate's coming from on Hubbard's performance. He's not Bijan Robinson (no one is) but in the 3 games I saw him in this year, he looked good and had @ 10 TD's and @ 400yds or more I'd guess. And it was against Chandler Hamilton, Scottsdale Desert Mtn and Scottsdale Saguaro not exactly Little Sisters of the Poor. He had @ 900 yards in 9 games while Miller was chucking it all game to Christakos & crew. Maybe that was part of the problem.

Think he takes most/all of his officials in the spring and then a decision following that. Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Washington sound like the top 3. Hopefully ND sneaks in as one of the 5 OV’s.

Those grills Shembo and Tuitt used to rock tho

Pretty sure Justin Tuck was the first player to use that with the Giants. The NFL then outlawed them or at least talked about outlawing them.

DeaMonte Trayanum wanting to visit because of Coach Taylor.

Says, "Wisconsin would probably be the biggest standout right now" Surprising if true but I'll take OSU vs the field all day.

"Notre Dame kind of got back in the picture when they hired Coach (Lance) Taylor as the new running backs coach," he noted. "I want to go there for a visit this spring and Coach Taylor wants me to get a date set to go there. They offered me a while ago, but I never got there for a visit. Coach Taylor has coached some great backs and that really raises Notre Dame up for me."

Are we recruiting more in St. Louis? As mentioned, Trinity Catholic is loaded and there's DeSmet. Reggie Love and Jordan Johnson may well be commits with heavy leans to ND.

In the greater KC area, there's Daniel Jackson at Miege.

ND is or was definitely trying to build a pipeline from St. Louis to ND. Last cycle they offered 7 of the top 8 prospects. They managed to come away with Kyren Williams and idk how many of the others they seriously recruited because there wasn't much interest in ND outside of Kyren. I believe the whole Trinity Catholic team made it to ND for a visit, but Isaiah Williams, Marcus Washington, and Shammond Cooper all chose different paths. As for the 2020 cycle, ND has offers out to Reggie Love & Jordan Johnson and Mookie Cooper and James Frenchie are the other two studs in the Trinity Catholic school, but they aren't being recruited by ND it doesn't look like. Dontae Manning & Jalen Logan-Redding are guys to keep an eye on as well. ND is definitely making an effort in Missouri, but I'd only care for Jordan Johnson and maybe Dontae Manning this cycle.
