Yep, it's going to come down to who turns out the most, those that live urban or rural.

Fishing wasn't bad, but ended up spending more time on the pontoon just trolling around. We had a bald eagle fly right over us. Nobody in the Celina, TN area believes in masks. lol

Damn... I'm just down the road from Celina. I've spent a lot of hours on DHL.

In the last eight days, our important swing states have tentatively extended the deadline by which mail ballots must be received.

- The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that ballots can arrive as late as Nov. 6 and still count as long as no evidence (e.g., a postmark) exists that they were mailed after Election Day (Nov. 3).

- A state judge in Michigan decreed that ballots can be counted as long as they are postmarked by the day before the election (Nov. 2) and received by Nov. 17.

- A federal judge ordered Wisconsin to count absentee ballots that are postmarked by Nov. 3 as long as they arrive by Nov. 9.

- And North Carolina reached a tentative court settlement with plaintiffs that, among other things, would allow ballots to count as long as they are postmarked by Nov. 3 and arrive by Nov. 12. (However, the settlement still needs to be approved by a judge before it officially goes into effect.)

Republicans may continue to contest them in court. At the very least, GOP legislative leaders in Wisconsin have already appealed that decision to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, and Republicans say they plan to take the Pennsylvania decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Most swing states will be counting ballots after Election Day
The deadline for mail ballots to be received in likely tipping-point states

STATE--TIPPING-POINT CHANCE--MAIL BALLOT RECEIPT DEADLINE--ACCEPTS BALLOTS AFTER ELECTION DAY?
Pennsylvania* -- 33% -- Nov. 6-- Yes
Florida -- 12% -- Nov. 3 -- No
Wisconsin* -- 9 -- Nov. 9 -- Yes
Michigan -- 8 -- Nov. 17 -- Yes
Arizona -- 6 -- Nov. 3 -- No
North Carolina* -- 5 -- Nov. 12 -- Yes
Ohio -- 3 -- Nov. 13 -- Yes
Nevada -- 3 -- Nov. 10 -- Yes
Minnesota -- 3 -- Nov. 10. -- No
* Republicans appealing court decisions.

Florida - in addition to not accepting ballots that arrive after Election Day, the state begins processing mail ballots several weeks early, enabling them to release results extremely quickly on election night.

North Carolina is allowed to process mail ballots well in advance, so we should learn the results of mail ballots that arrive by Nov. 2 shortly after polls close — but then have to wait days for the remainder. Mail-in ballots are expected to be heavily Democratic.

Arizona may also be called on Election Day since ballots must arrive by Nov 3, though they have been slow to process votes in the past.

In contrast, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin all prohibit processing mail ballots before Election Day. Thousands of ballots will still in transit on election night and will be counted barring legal decisions to the contrary. These states will probably be slow to count even the mail ballots that have already arrived. But it looks increasingly unlikely that we’ll be able to declare an election-night winner in those three states. If Biden is leading in those states in the early hours of Nov 4, he will probably increase his lead with the mail-in ballots If Trump is ahead in states with mail-in ballots still to be counted, we may have to wait for days.

I don't see it anywhere yet, probably because it's Project Veritas and ergo they want to confirm the legitimacy of the reporting and video. I would imagine once there are more details on the by local authorities you'll see a widespread story.

If true, this would be huge kick in the nuts to both the DNC in general, and the Sqaud. Not surprising though. I'm a realist. If there's an area to exploit, people will find a way to exploit.

Joe buddies with George O'Leary?

I almost think Joe believes he did go to an HBCU. He's either a shameless liar, a mental midget, or just detached from reality. I'm guessing a combo of the 3.

No mention of this on cnn.com. Sweeping it under the rug?

You won't see it on CNN or MSNBC until it's both confirmed true, and there's overwhelming public opinion on the situation. Until then, it will be either crickets, or stories that try spin and debunk.

I agree they're likely trying to confirm, but I also bet they are putting as much, or more effort into "spin" stories right now. Haven't watched the vid yet, or dug into the details, but sounds interesting AF lol.. Nothing shocks anymore.

Re: Biden and Delaware State. He has an honorary degree from them and has spoken there multiple times. So you're crying over the word choice of "got started" when he probably meant to say something different about his connection there.

Meanwhile Trump says stuff like this...

Trump is repeating his completely invented story about Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, recounting a nonexistent phone call in which he falsely claims Warner was scammed by pranksters promising nude pics of Trump.

He's twisting a story involving Rep. Adam Schiff, not Warner.
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) September 26, 2020

...on the regular, and nary a peep. He literally has dozens of worse and more impactful lies every week than saying he "got started" somewhere he has an honorary degree from.

Can we settle this?

Biden lies.

Trump lies.

One may lie because he doesn't know what day of the week it is and the other is a chronic bullshitter, but alas, they both lie.

Can we move forward?

‘Help me’: Graham begs for cash in tighter-than-expected race

“I’m getting overwhelmed,” Graham told conservative talk-show host Sean Hannity Thursday night. “LindseyGraham.com. Help me. They’re killing me, money-wise. Help me. You helped me last week — help me again. LindseyGraham.com.”

Citizens United opened the doors. As Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, he will be away from campaigning and in the spotlight - as will Kamela Harris. Two Rep members - Ernst (Ia) and Tillis (NC) are also in tight races.

The politics are most entertaining this year.

There's two ladies Democrat Christina Hale and Republican Victoria Spartz running for a congressional seat for Indiana. Spartz is a state senator and Hale is a representative. When you are a rep or senator, you propose new laws, right?

One of Hale's ad says "Spartz was "caught" writing legislation that would benefit her family." How do you get caught writing legislation?

Thank you for this. F'ing hilarious. I'm literally going to send $7.50

That's very cheap given all the entertainment he's provided, not to mention SCOTUS!

Must have been the other thread, but someone mentioned how Trump got Biden to say he didn't support certain positions that he does, in fact, support. This was one from tonight:

Biden claimed tonight, after helpful prompting from Chris Wallace, that he does not support the Green New Deal.

Biden's own website says differently. People are being intentionally obtuse here. He said he didn't support the version of the "Green New Deal" that was put forth years ago and has the crazy price tag Trump was trumpeting, and instead you can see exactly what his plan is because he's publicly published it.

In fact the snippet you just grabbed there actually is talking about his Clean Energy Revolution plan and all it says is that the "Green New Deal" is a "captures two truths at the heart of Biden's plan."
