I'd be happy with Rosen and Barkley/Fitzpatrick/One of the two tackles... any combo of that...

The Browns are gonna do what the Browns usually do and take Mason Rudolph.

I will say this... Kizer has shown more flashes than I thought he would. He MAY be able to grow into something in a year or two... obviously needs to cut down on INTs.

The Browns should have played him every down of every game. Let him work through that stuff. Manning and Luck threw their share of INT's their rookie year and learned from it.

Myles Garrett had the same stories out last year...

Only after trading down three times to get more "assets". It's been tough living here in Cleveland...from a football perspective. I watch the Browns way more than I watch my Bills...Brutal.

Thanks front runner. We don’t need opinions from guys who root for teams based on their record.

Lol, huh? If I only root for teams because of their record, then how did I end up rooting for Notre Dame and the Cubs?

The only reason you rooted for the Steelers. Probably started rooting for the Cubs in 2016

I'm a big Browns fan (as well as the Bills). Please don't hate on me next year when they turn it around and I sing their praise. I suffered four games at the stadium this year and will be there for four next year.

Rosen is the best QB in this class by a country mile.

Rosen? He may be worse than DARNold.

Rosen outplayed Darnold head to head with a much much worse surrounding cast. Rosen had better numbers overall this season with 2 less games and nothing around him. His mechanics and footwork are flawless, he's actually played under center, prototypical size, good arm. He's the total package IMO.

The only question mark with his is the injury bug I guess. The shoulder sure seems 100% though and concussions are an issue for anyone taking shots. Can't really help those.

Rosen is the only QB in this class without a major red flag, and I think he's probably the most pro ready QB to come out since Luck.

What is Lamar Jackson's red flag? He's had a better year than Rosen, doesn't have an injury history, and there aren't any personality issues that I know of.

The issue with Rosen is that he isn't a winner. 6-5 as a starter this year? Meh. I know he probably didn't have much help on offense but Luck and Jackson didn't have much help in college either.

Rosen could be the #1 pick in the 2018 draft and could have a good NFL career, but I think he has plenty of red flags and sure isn't a guarantee. I think Goff was more pro ready than Rosen.

Jackson's red flags are his small frame and reliance on his legs. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking him in the AFC North. He'd be broken by week 8. Also I'm not sure how prepared he is between the ears. It's widely known that he doesn't call any of us own protections, I'd assume there are other processing issues going on as part of the reason talent evaluators aren't high on him.

Stanford has had multiple winning seasons after Luck left. He certainly had more around him than Rosen has this year. Winning is an overrated statistics. UCLA was losing in spite of good performances from Rosen. He's the reason they even got to 6-5. Can you make all the throws on a consistent basis and can you diagnose an NFL defense? Rosen is a clear yes in both categories.

Also disagree on Goff. The Cal offense he was coming from, the "Bear raid", was nothing like a pro offense. It took him a full year to adjust. That was a big factor in him looking terrible last year and many calling him a bust.

Goff looked like ass last year because he literally had zero weapons to throw to and the o-line couldn't run block at all for Gurley. Thats why they went out and drafted Cooper Kupp and then got Sammie Watkins from Buffalo. Now, he's leading LA into the playoffs and could be the NFC favorite to make the Super Bowl.

Your statement on Jackson's ability to play AFC North ball is valid. But I don't agree that he relies on his legs too much. In 2017, his QB rating was 151 (Rosen, 147 rating) and threw for 300 less passing yards than Rosen despite throwing 50 less passes. Yeah, Jackson can run the hell out of the ball but numbers show that he doesn't overly rely on his legs to get the job done.

The QB people need to not forget about is Josh Allen. He had a down year in 2017 and that could make him fall in the draft. If he is there in the late first, I wouldn't be surprised if Pittsburgh drafted him for the post Big Ben era.

Wouldn’t Josh Allen fall under the catagory of not being a winner as well?

Baker and Rosen are the only two I’d hand the ball to day one. Every other QB in this class needs years of grooming.

Absolutely. But he also wasn't a 5:s: coming out of high school with all kinds of D1 offers and isn't a contender to be the #1 pick. But I still think he has the make up to be a good NFL QB. Especially on a cold weather team.

People say that Josh Rosen is by far the best QB in this class, but he still went 6-5 as a starter, threw 10 interceptions (thats a lot for a guy that supposedly can read NFL defenses), and has an injury history.

Heading into this NFL/NCAAF season, it seemed like this was gonna be the Year Of The QB for the NFL draft. After watching these guys, I think every QB will need a year to grow and learn. That won't happen, but thats what they need.
