With the second pick of the 2017 NFL Draft the San Francisco 49ers select.......Soloman Thomas, DE, Stanford.

While I would love to trade back a few spots and pick up some extra picks, nothing materialized so we will try to create a strength somewhere, might as well start on the D-Line. With Buckner and Armstead we have the potential to create a versatile, athletic front line that can create havoc and cover up some deficiencies in the secondary and linebacker corp that will take more time to rebuild.

It is not the most exciting pick, but it is the correct pick. In Montana we trust.

Jamal Adams (LSU) - Safety

Jamal Adams has the rare ability to play both Free Safety and Strong Safety. Which gives the Bears flexibility at a much needed position, but one they have invested in the FA market with as well. The thought of drafting Kizer was there, but ultimately the Bears have a defensive culture and decided to stick to what they know. Especially with Adams, as our staff feel like he is a transformational player in the likes of Eric Berry or Richard Sherman.

Plus, he is a good locker room guy. Here he is telling everyone how big Koon's penis is...
