I guess, we'll see how it shakes out, but 2017 looks like a huge miss at ILB. Really like JOK at Rover, though.

One of the biggest developments for me in ND recruiting is what appears to be the shift to being open to taking 2 QB's.

That will open up the door for guys who would come to ND as "the other guy" and maybe they pop... or they stay their 3-3.5 years (or less) and GT elsewhere for playing time.

2017 had a LOT of other guys for ND and it was THEE year they should've taken advantage of it when they brought in AD... a guy we knew wasn't going to play QB at ND.

I guess it's poetic justice that Jack Coan ended up back at ND as an ND fan and former ND LAX commit. Add to him Sean Clifford who probably would've been the next QB they would've taken as he was in ND's locker room as much as the janitors. But this is the guy who you hope you get in a #2 every year. An guy that challenges for the spot when he way outperforms his R&R. The fact he was another ND fan just makes it better.

Dude's as cool as the other side of the pillow. Easily my favorite non-ND player in the country this year.
