All these reports are outstanding. The positions that need help seem to be getting some.

Gilmore, is the new Harry Hiestand. If the Notre Dame defensive linemen learn to use their hands properly, we will see something at ND we haven't seen in a blue moon.

Even the d-line on the '12 team didn't use its hands really well.

Can you imagine Jones, and Tillery using their hands well on the inside? If I were an opponents offensive lineman, I would say, "Oh, hell no!"

Outstanding to see Bonner, and Taylor, as well as reports on Blankenship, and Hayes, all doing very well. This is key. With this improvement alone we could more than make up for the losses we had from last years defense.

Bilal is icing on the cake. In fact if Coney, and Martini are both back to full steam by fall, and Morgan becomes competent in the middle, we could have the best overall six linebackers in years, even considering the best two (maybe of all time) don't even play on this defense!

Lol how many times are guys talked up all spring and then barely see any snaps all year? Coaches do it to give guys confidence

Single props in press conferences, yeah, I agree! (Max Redfield, etc.)

Street buzz, all the behind the scene sources, rarely. Examples : Kizer coming around after a disappointing spring; KRussel, playing incredibly at corner before the start of the '12 season, after just being switched from running back; Jones upping his game as a sophomore after being lackadaisical his first year; Rochelle coming on as a sophomore; etc.

Studstill looks really long and lean, so much extra weight could be added to his frame, really promising.

per 247-corey holmes was standout performer of the day

Studstill co-No. 1 with Redfield---sending a message?

Or maybe just flat out better?

From the small amount of clips on Stepherson, he looks like he has a very quick first step but is very fluid and smooth.

Evidently Max earned a five star simply from being able to excel in HS with his athleticism and not so much technique. Would have thought that Max would have technique down by now. Heart and soul not 100% into FB? Maybe he gets it this year?
