There were many rumors and mentions of Clinton not having the health to remain in the primaries about a year ago... Doesn't mean it's true, but it's certainly not some fringe thing that's just now being mentioned...

Do candidates typically put out their health reports? Like their tax returns? Did Trump put out a health report?

Sort of, yes. He had his doctor issue a statement that he was in great health, with no conditions that would cause him any issues with being President.

The general statements have been usually done and gotten a lot of press for older candidates where it has been more of a concern ( ie Reagan, McCain, etc)

...I realize it is a sedentary job, but geez, don't ya think the info you put on an application for insurance might be the minimum here?

At least Clinton's report tries to address issues everyone already knows she has...but stops short of providing a basis for presidential fitness.

Trump's is a laugher...I hope he is trolling people, because that can't be serious.

To be fair, the letter does list: his blood pressure(110/65); his PSA score (0.15); his prescription drug status(he takes 81mg of aspirin and a low dose statin); the fact that he has lost 15 pounds in the last 12 months; his cardiovascular health; his surgical history; his cancer history (none), and his strength and stamina(excellent). It's not a bad letter at all, except for the one over the top statement.

Maybe he should take some time off and go compete in the decathlon in Rio. Might get a bump if he shuts up for a while ... especially if he brings home some hardware!

Awww. What's wrong, little buddy? Couldn't find any racism to bitch about today?

I was just responding to the previous post about how Clinton's letter had medical data in it, and the insinuation that Trump's letter didn't.

The thing with the Clintons is not that they kill people, its just that they are associated with just tons of questionable financial deals and shady characters. Is just really unique.

Maureen Dowd of the NYTimes recently noted how many people go down around the Clintons as they keep climbing up.

You can chalk it all up to a right wing conspiracy, but the Clintons are unique in the amount of investigations they've either spawned or been implicated in. Carter gets accused of being alot of things, but there aren't endless weird scandals floating around him. Obama gets accused of being a socialist or a foreigner or a Muslim, but there is not a crazy trail of personal/financial scandals. Gore gets accused of profiting off of global warming hysteria, but all his transactions have been pretty out in the open.

That's my impression. The FBI investigation was par for the course. Lots of irregularities, improprieties, shady behavior, and then they walk away... You can say it proves they've never done anything, but that just isn't the impression most are left with.

Let me sum this up --- Where there is smoke there is fire

Yup, you are correct. I saw what I thought was a responsible synopsis of the letter

...only when you pointed out the details that were NOT contained in the stuff I read, did I keep drilling down until I found the actual letter...

His letter is much closer to what I'd expect, including the superman hyperbole...:)

I think the first bolded sentence is pretty good evidence that the second bolded sentence can't be true.

Maureen Dowd, New York Times ....just not going out of their way to whack a Dem. Clearly Hillary makes even the most brand loyal lefties nervous.

I can't tell from any of the articles if the guy who was executed was because he was found out through Clinton's server or he was known and she just openly talked about him. I have heard some of our intelligence people express these fears over our people who were named in Clinton' s emails. I am sure Trump will go after this.

Cotton: Clinton discussed executed Iranian scientist on email | Washington Examiner

Here is an article that gives a little more details.

Iran: Nuclear scientist executed for spying - CNN.com

ETA: here is another one that mentions he had a video on YouTube (or even two).

I doubt that Trump has read the constitution. Of course, he will never admit it, but he has no depth of knowledge on anything. He didn't realize that Crimea was in the Ukraine. He's stated he will get rid of the Affordable Care Act on day one. He wants to drop nuclear bombs on the enemy killing millions of innocent victims in the process. He has publicly stated he will be appointing partisan judges to the Supreme Court. The man speaks in one sentence sound bites and can't think any deeper than that. He gets his military information from Sean Hannity and the like. He thinks he knows more about the military and military operations than the generals. Does he not realize that the constitution does not give him the power to unilaterally eliminate legislation passed by both the House and Senate? Does he even understand the three branches of government and the separation of powers? Did Trump attend college. Let's see his transcripts. I don't think Trump has even read the Cliff Notes version of the US Constitution.

Yet every presidential candidate going back as far as I can remember always makes a statement where they are going to repeal or invoke a new law. Pretty sure he like everyone before him knows you can't just change something just because he's president.
