Seven pretty easy wins. Five games that could go either way, but I expect you to win three of them and maybe, with a couple of breaks, four. I'm going with 10-2, but 11-1 wouldn't be a big surprise.

Then we will get Bama in some bowl in the South... book it. I mean this is ND guys... some team that is a semi pro football team will get left out of the playoff and we will face them in our bowl IF we win enough games to get to a major bowl...

that's pretty much the ONLY thing I am absolutely certain of going into this season... lol

They SHOULD win every one of the first 11 games.

SC is a complete unknown as they can be a one loss or a 5 loss team depending on Helton's ability to put it together.

So 9-3 or less is complete sandbagging and you think the staff should be fired immediately.

10-2 is saying you know the Irish will lose a game they shouldn't.

11-1 Seems right. It gives you a cushion if SC is bad, it explains the loss if they are good.

I'll say 11.5 - .5 (11-1)

I'll up it to 12-0 if after watching a few SC games, if I don't think Helton can get SC into Top 6 shape for the last game.

Playoffs... Who knows? At 11-1 they still need help. History says they'd probably get that help but it's a real possibility to not get in at 11-1.

Bowl if no playoffs... Once again, who knows? I will say, odds are ND can't run into another OSU type not in the playoffs again. So I'll go win in a bowl.

If this team goes 8-4 with this schedule. The staff needs to go.

CBK cannot be deserving of the ND job being 3 games under the line. So our sandbaggers better have the sharpest pitchforks and hottest torches when we march on the Gug.

The good news... you guys are setting ND up for a win in the WGAF Pre-Christmas Bowl against the C-USA runner-up.

As usual, I nailed it.

*** Question --- Does a 11-1 ND get in this year? As it turned out, I don't see a good loss scenario.
