according to rivals...they are basically the same prospect in terms of skill set/development etc

This isn't directed at you but I don't agree with that at all. Outside of both playing LB and DE at times for their HS teams, I see very little that they have in common (Romeo McKnight does as well). Its very common at some of these schools for kids to play multiple positions if they're the best ATH on the field (ex. Jaylon Smith playing RB). Kemp is already 250+, I highly doubt in 2-3 years he is still at that weight. Okwara's game is based of quickness, speed, and range. Kemps is based on power. Example how many times do they line him up at MLB and have him just plow into the line. That won't work in college.

I see, thats because they have him categorized as a WDE in the database. I'll refer back to my feelings above.

I don't see Jaylon in this film at all. This kid hits well and has solid film. Jaylon was on a very, very different level.

Yes Jaylon is on a different level. This kid closes on the ballcarrier very well...that's where i saw a similarity. Didn't mean we have the second coming of Jaylon Smith.

BK will be speaking at the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp this summer. First time doing this since he's been coach at ND. Positive step in recruiting, IMO. Other Big10 coaches have been doing it for years.

FL. LB Devin Bush was offered today. He's the son of former FSU S Devin Bush. Alford had been recruiting him prior to leaving for OSU so there has been some past dialogue but it seems he's a FSU lean at this point.

The picture gives it away but it's Koby Quansah. Elston went to visit him and they've been in communication since. He's going to call BVG tonight so they can talk and an offer is expected. He has very high interest in ND

New offer out to LA CB Chanse Sylvie. Another lowly rated DB that I like.

To me this is a good crop of 3 star and low 4 star DB's. I could make a list for this class of all 3 star DB's and I'd be happy with it. There's a lot to like out there.

new offer to 3 star db troy pride jr who is committed to VT Pride tells 247Sports "It's HUGE" when confirming the offer but when asked if it changed anything with his plans to sign with Virginia Tech, he responded "No #HokieNation"


BUT according to rivals reporter Andrew "It's a huge offer," he said. "Notre Dame is on another level when it comes to academics and athletics."
