Doesn't turn 21 until this summer right? He doesn't get mentioned in many mocks, but I have a tough time thinking he goes undrafted.

i wouldn't draft him. He can't rush the passer and isn't big enough to be a 3-4 DE.

It's a damned shame that he didn't have a 5th year available. They should have redshirted him when he was a frosh.

Idk if I'd go that far. He put together a pretty good campaign this past season getting to the QB, especially the second half of the season. Of course, the NFL is a different animal, but he's young enough that he might still have another gear to tap into as a pass rusher as he works on the spot full-time.

I would draft him, but only if my team is looking for a situational pass-rusher to fill depth and doesn't want to spend money in free agency.

Romeo Okwara Draft Profile – NFL.com

I'd agree with everything on here:
ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS Mindful of contain responsibilities and fights against being hooked on run plays to perimeter. Good arm length with big hands. Has natural upper body strength with decent power in his hands.

WEAKNESSES Pad level is sky high and loses leverage almost immediately. Extremely raw. Slow reaction time off the snap and doesn’t have the twitch to burst upfield and threaten an edge as a rusher. Stiff and struggles with direction change. Lacks instincts and pass rush talent.

BOTTOM LINE Big edge player who looks great on the hoof, but who is extremely stiff and mechanical in his movements. Okwara is missing the quickness to be an NFL pass rusher while being a block magnet in the running game. Unless he finds a way to unleash his natural power and have it translate to production on the field, making a roster will be exceptionally difficult.

Romeo's measurable are impressive. Nice to see a guy actually be what he's listed at or better.

UFA, his best bet it to hope he lands on a practice squad.

Eh, 40-times are pretty much irrelevant when it comes to O-lineman anyway.

Elliot just ran a u4.46, and top so far is Keith Marshall (Georgia) with a u4.29.

DAMN I was way off. Probably just put himself in the 3rd round (maybe even 2nd).

if he has a good showing in drills, especially catching the ball, I think your 2nd is a real possibility.

4.46 at 220 lbs is awesome. The only thing I worry about with CJ is that he ran a little high (even though he was a natural at getting low and avoiding taking big hits when he needed to). It will be interesting to see if he can make a mark somewhere.

Keith Marshall running the 4.29 is insane. Guy had crappy luck at UGA. Could you imagine if he had been fully healthy alongside Gurley and then Chubb?

Now you know why he ran away from defenders once he turned the corner.
