Just thought I'd start a thread for the playoffs since they start tomorrow. Predictions and playoff news are welcome.

For wild card weekend, I've got...

Panthers over Cardinals

Steelers over Ravens

Cowboys over Lions

Bengals over Colts

I think the NFC is much more compelling than the AFC at least until the championship games. I don't really see any way that the AFC championship is anything other than Broncos at Patriots, but I could see the Cowboys or Cardinals pulling the upset on the other side.

Really? I don't see anybody from the NFC getting out other than Seattle or GB. I could see Pittsburgh making the Super Bowl, but I think it's NE's to lose.

Bengals vs Colts comes down to whether AJ Green plays or not.

With AJ, Dalton is a decent QB. Without AJ, Dalton is atrocious.

I don't think the Broncos will go very far

Dallas can certainly do it, considering they've already beaten Seattle this year. The Cardinals may be the best team in the NFL if it were't on their 3rd string quarterback.

In general, I agree. The only thing I see keeping the Patriots out of the Super Bowl is if Gronk breaks his arm falling off a stripper pole (a very real possibility).

I think the Pats got it in the AFC. I'm biased, but they've just dominated the AFC this season. I'm a bit worried about Steelers/Ravens, but not so much the other 3 teams.

In the NFC, I think it's either Seattle or Dallas. I don't think anyone other than Dallas can win in Seattle, although the Cards maybe could if they get by Carolina and can get Stanton back for next week.

Boring pick, but I'm thinking Pats/Seahawks in Super Bowl, which would be an absolutely horrible matchup for the Pats.

I'm hoping for a Steelers vs Cowboys Super Bowl

The Panthers are some lucky SOB's.

They get in the playoffs under .500, and then draw the freakin Cardinals playing with a 3rd string QB.

Steelers are my biggest worry in the AFC. I think it's going to be Pats-Steelers AFC champ. You're getting screwed with Bell out this week, but you guys are nasty with him.

We signed Ben Tate this week but expect rookie undrafted free agent Josh Harris to get most of the carried tomorrow night. With Bell out, the Ravens will probably double team Antonio Brown so that gives Heath Miller and Martavis Bryant the opportunity to have big games

I dislike every team in the playoffs to varying degrees. By the process of elimination I'm cheering for the Pats the rest of the way because they are the team I dislike the least. So long as Seattle, Denver, Green Bay, or Baltimore don't win it all I won't be too upset.

AFC Championship: Colts vs Ravens. I think Indy beats up Cincy again on Sunday then ends Peyton's career the following weekend, how ironic. I think this is how it would line up if both the Colts and Ravens win this weekend. If the Colts go to Denver, they'll win...if New England, they'll lose.

NFC Championship: GB, Seattle and Dallas...hard to pick from those three...all are really good.

Well. I'm not excited about Pats/Ravens again. But, if we can't beat the Ravens at home then we don't deserve our Super Bowl shot.

Taking some solace in the fact the Pats beat the Ravens 41-7 last year without Gronk. But, that was a long time ago.

NFC playoffs are much more exciting, but Pats/Ravens will be great next week. Too bad Pittsburgh had no Bell (or Blount lol).

I find it ironic that we lose 17 players from our two-deep and Kelly and VG vilified as poor coaches because they lose some games and our third stringers and walk-ons are said to "lack heart and toughnes" and are accused of "giving-up" going against a team stacked with five star players. Yet in the Pro's, if just one player is out, that is a perfect reason to expect them to lose the game.

Some good ones this coming week:

Pats/Ravens
Broncos/Colts

Seahawks/Panthers
Packers/Cowboys

I'm liking Pats, Broncos, Seahawks, and Cowboys personally.

Who you guys got this weekend?

Boring picks, but I'm going with Pats and Seahawks.

Packers can only win if Rodgers plays like he did in the 2nd half against the Cowboys. They can't afford to be wasting drives like they were in the 1st half. Adams emerging is really huge for them. I don't think Seattle will blow them out like in Week 1, but I think they win by 7-10. I just don't trust the Pack on the road.

I know we've got a lot of Colts fans on this board, but I just don't see them winning. The average score of the three Brady/Luck matchups is 48-22. I think its a really close game until about midway through the 3rd quarter, then the Pats pull away and win by 17-20. Belichick/Brady just seem to have their number, and I don't see Luck playing a turnover-free game. Your run D just isn't great, and Brady tends to kill teams with the play-action game if the run game is going.

Let me hear it, Colts fans. Why are you guys going to win? Before the playoffs, I only watched about 3-4 Colts game this season, so I don't know your team that well.

I think Patriots and Seahawks as well, but I'd much rather see a Pats / Pack Super Bowl. I'm holding out hope that the Patriots bust out these bad boys, but I know it ain't gonna happen.

I know, I love those unis. I have that red #12 for gamedays. I'm also rooting for Packers. Seattle is completely a nightmare matchup for us.

I will be pulling for the Colts but I don't think they will win. More a matter of the defense being unable to stop the Pats than anything.

Can't stand the Packers, but think they will win unfortunately. Russell Wilson is aces in my book, only reason I would root for Seahawks as Stinky Pete is a f-ing troll IMO.

Luck and Wilson are probably my two favorite QBs in the league, hope they perform and build their already impressive resumes.
