Shaq Thompson to Panthers. Seems like yesterday we were recruiting him at S. Listed as a OLB at 6'0" 228lbs.

Anyone else see him at SS instead of linebacker... I don't know the Panthers well enough to speculate on their intentions. Any Carolina fans around have an idea?

Interesting stat just came across the bottom of the screen, 12 players that the Cowboys have drafted since 2005 have made the Pro Bowl, most in NFL. For what is perceived to be a terrible franchise with personnel decisions that's encouraging.

Really like the pick, might not become a game breaker but I don't see any bust here. Athletic as all get out

That is impressive. The 'Boys were my team growing up. i knew those teams inside and out. Jerry Jones ruined it for me.

I would've been happier with a D line guy, or a QB.

I was hoping for a defensive player too. Damn it, I really liked the options at 23. And really what good is that 5th rd pick they got in exchange? It's possible we get somebody who can contribute in the NFL but I'm not holding my breath.

Aren't Dorsett and TY Hilton almost the same player. Weird pick.

Yeah thats what im thinking. Dont really like it; yeah we picked up andre johnson but hes only gonna play for another few years probably. If we're drafting a receiver we need a big one not another short fast player. Draft an oLineman to protect Luck or a linebacker/dline where i think we need alot of help

Edit: i will add though TY, Dorsett, Johnson and Moncrief or a TE is gonna be pretty nasty if they use them right. Dorsett and TY is a lot of speed on the field

A little behind on this but to Steelers fans, I really like the Dupree pick but does that mean Jarvis is probably on his way out

Would love Strong here, wouldn't mind Gregory or Kendricks either,

Edit: I'm a terrible GM I guess.

2015 NFL Draft

Surprised Malcolm Brown was still on the board at 32. Might be the best pick of the night

It's a mixture of a few thing. James Harrison is OLD and you can't count on a 37 year old to produce a constant pass rush, Jason Worilds quit football, and Jarvis Jones has been pretty underwhelming but to be fair, he hasn't been all that healthy.

But I like the pick too. James Harrison (Bud Dupree)-Ryan Shazier-Lawrence Timmons-Jarvis Jones is a very, very athletic linebacker core.

I think they need to go secondary in rounds 2 and 3

Great/lucky pick by the Pats getting Brown at #32.

What are the Colts doing? They need OL and front 7 help....oh well, I'm not complaining. Just doesn't make any sense. I think there's an old saying about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results...

Irsay is popping too many pills...i wish we could get rid of him already. Seriously its stupid, hard to win with no run game or run defense. I wanted Brown on the colts thats a steal for new england i think

Yea I get it. Great group of LB's, young Tuitt on the DL (sounds like he's coming into his own), add some good young CB's and you guys might be setup for awhile.
