We are a few days away and as a Knicks fan I've never been so invested in the build up to the draft.

This draft seems to be the top 3 (Towns, Okafor, Russell) and then 10-12 players that have high upside or at least could be starters in the NBA.

Then of course we have our very own Jerian Grant who is project to be drafted in the 16-22 range and Pat Connaughton who could definitely get drafted in the mid to late second round.

Who do you guys think is the best player outside the top 3? Who do you want your team to draft? Most overrated player?

Personally I want the Knicks to draft Mudiay at 4 or trade down and take Willy Cauley Stein. A rumor I've seen floated around is the Knicks getting Bledsoe and the Suns pick for our #4.

I think Russell and Sam Dekker are the most overrated players and Kaminsky is probably the most underrated.

I think Cauley Stein is pretty overrated

He is the only player that can guard all 5 positions. He wasn't asked to provide offense in Kentucky so that aspect of his game was hidden but from what I've read he has a really accurate mid-range jumper

I don't see him guarding a 1 or 2, but I'll defer to someone more knowledgeable.

His offensive game is poor at best. His seems like a more talented Ben Wallace. Top 15 pick, yes, top 10 no thank you.

I think Kaminsky is the most underrated player. I love Justice Winslow, but he wouldn't work in Ny playing with Anthony.

I've heard that Okafor could be there at 4 and if he is the Knicks have to take him!

That's still a good player. Chandler was just a late bloomer.

You are right. That is a better comparison.

I see the poor man's Chandler comparision. But how dare you disrespect the great Ben Wallace like that.

What do you all think of the Kristaps Porzingis?

I like his game from the youtube videos I've watched but too many Europeans have been busts lately when picked in the top 10.

I think that WCS has really showed improvement since he has got to focus on his game since his season ended. His jumper has improved a immense amount from the season. I think the biggest question about him is if he can improve is rebounding, Hes added 20 pounds of muscle according to multiple sources, and his finishing ability. There were many times at UK that I saw him just throw something up around the basket with no touch at all.

I like Porzingis. He plays in the second best league in the word and dominated. Yes a harder league than the NCAA div I. Kid has been playing with adults since he was 14 and is only 19 now and still growing into his body.

I've heard a lot of comparisons to Dirk. If he is half as good as Dirk he is worth a top 5 pick.

I love WCS. He'll never get you more than 15 a game, but he's a beast on defense. Anyone remember his block on Grant after he did a nasty step-back? Guy can guard anyone.

I really like Justice Winslow as well, I'd be tempted to take him at #3 if I were any team. I really want the Celts to trade up for WCS or Winslow...at least one of them will last to pick 8 so it shouldn't take too much to move from up from 16.

Just about every mock has Connaughton going 35-55. Would be so sweet to have two ND guys drafted...

He is a very fluid athlete for his size/length. Doesn't look oafy when he moves, despite the 7'6" wingspan. Looks to be in control like a point guard or someone that can win a dunk contest. Can elevate and he has a solid jump and three point shot. Strength and rebounding might be a concern initially, but he looks like he can bulk up.

At first, I was adverse to my team (The Knicks) taking him, but I have warmed up to the idea.

I think Cousins will attract better caliber FA's, plus we will rid ourselves of that crappy contract we gave Kobe after the season is over. We will still have room for 3 max contracts.

I just struggle with Cousins.

Understandable and I can agree that there are some negatives to his game but I think overall he is a great player in a bad market that doesn't get the players around him to help win games.

There is no way Okafor falls to 4. He is No. 1 or 2 guaranteed. I hope to God the Lakers take him at 2 and pair him w Randle. Love Cousins ability but hate the potential headaches so please do not trade those 2 plus other assets (possibly Jordan Clarkson?) for him (as is currently rumored).

I don't want to make this all about the Knicks but they do have the most interesting pick in the draft IMO. If one of the top 3 falls then I think they keep the pick and take that player.

If Towns, Okafor, and Russell are gone, they have two options: (1) draft Winslow, WCS, Zinger, or Mudiay; (2) trade down.

I would be a big fan of trading down if the Knicks get a pick in the 6-10 range plus either an additional pick in the 10-15 range or a first rounder next year from a team projected to be in the lottery. They could do something like Winslow/Lyles or Herzonja/Kaminsky. Alternatively, I'd take someone like Bledsoe from the Suns plus their pick (a rumor I've seen floated around).

Bledsoe
Hardaway Jr.
Melo
Monroe
WCS

That's not a bad starting 5 at all. Definitely a playoff team.

Expecting to see Hinkie push out "The Plan" another 2-3 years by drafting a Euro.

Hopefully he grabs Russell
