In that article they have video of him from RCS Orlando and he makes those DB's look silly. I didn't know that he was that good at running routes. IMO, I like him as an APB but this kid has a bright future catching passes. He'll visit WV, OSU, ND, Ole Miss this summer. Is being recruited the hardest by Clemson, UCLA, Florida, Oregon, Miami, and Ole Miss.

Who they have: Notre Dame has attacked the offensive side of the ball in 2015, securing commitments from quarterback and No. 64 overall Blake Barnett, No. 131 and top-ranked center Tristen Hoge, No. 201 Jerry Tillery and No. 243 Jalen Guyton. Four-star safety Prentice McKinney Jr. is in the fold on the defensive side of the ball.

Who they want: Among the targets the Fighting Irish have zeroed in on are No. 13 Justin Hilliard, No. 16 Jashon Cornell, No. 18 Keisean Lucier-South, No. 20 Iman Marshall, No. 27 Damien Harris, dfuq? No. 112 Kahlil McKenzie and No. 258 Zach Robertson.

Biggest win: No. 64 Blake Barnett. While Notre Dame has Everett Golson back in the fold, the future of the position is filled with uncertainty. With DeShone Kizer inked in 2014, and Barnett in the fold in 2015, the Fighting Irish have gone a long way in finding a multi-year starter and future stability at the most important position on the field.

Must get: No. 16 Jashon Cornell. Top prospects that Notre Dame truly desires from Cretin-Derham Hall go to South Bend, or are expected to. Cornell could be the first to turn down the Fighting Irish since the days of Joe Mauer. Michigan State, Penn State and Michigan are making this a tougher recruitment than expected for the Fighting Irish.

it seems that way from having issues not only at miami, being released from loi at usc, dad making rap videos etc....BUT could he potentially have made it w/ a better supporting cast at ND? who knows, just wasted talent

McKinney's teammate is J.F. Thomas. Cooks will bring Denbrock back to McKinney's school to look at J.F. Thomas in a few weeks

According to Scout, a name to watch is Raequan Williams

Raequan Williams

Man, I really hope so. This dude is big and athletic. Ex bball player that is super raw but I've heard some say his upside is very very high.

Here's his tape. Violent hands at times but needs work on tackling and being consistent.

I have to agree with you Lucky!

And, have you noticed how many of the front seven defensive players have forced fumbles in their highlights?

This kid is so raw, and appears to me to have the upside of a Bubba or a Deacon. I mean a prototypical long, strong, havoc reeking all day long defensive end. If you told me this kid was a mandatory red shirt as a freshman and made an AA team before he was done I wouldn't be surprised.

Attending a Chicago Catholic League football game must be very exciting. There is no waiting for a ticket at the box office, and you can conveniently sit anywhere in the stadium. Is it Gordon Tech school policy for the student band to stay in attendance after their halftime performance?

Cooks will also visit Kirk Merritt this week. Loy is hearing that we are in his top two with LSU. Most likely trailing them. Some other big names from LA getting visits. Tillery, Nick Brossette, TD Moton, Xavier Lewis, Isaiah Washington, Derrick Dillon, Stanley Washington, Jozie Milton, Hunter Dale, and 2016 5star OT Willie Allen.

If I had to pick between a defense full of All-Americans and a defense full of players that had dreads.

I'd pick the defense with dreads.

I'm only half kidding

The real question is, how do dreads measure up against being from Texas?

You have a WR from Missouri who's a 90 composite rating and has dreads, and a WR from Texas who's a 90 composite rating but no dreads, who do you take?

I think I take Mizzou kid.

If I had a dollar for every offer that kid had, I'd have enough money to buy enough beer to forget how bummed I am that he didn't pick ND.

Apparently the goal with this full court press on Patrick is we are trying to get a OV locked in.
