Teams look at Combine to much IMO. Jordan yeah is a athletic freak but he really didnt do that much at Oregon.
True! Did you see the stats on his plays? He old played 40% of the time! LOL.

Against Bama:
Jones- 6 tackles, 3 for loss, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble.
Teo- 10 tackles
Jones is a stud
Some of you guys are hilarious. I didn't say Manti wasn't a great player. LOL

Also, Manti and Jones play two different positions...There is a much bigger premium on guys that can get to the QB.
He's also a pass rushing OLB that plays a completely different position from Te'o. A 4.9 (the original reason we brought him up remember) should be a much bigger indictment on him because he's going to have to cover. Can you imagine a guy with a 4.9 trying to cover Eifert? It would be f*cking comical, not to mention the fact that he's going to have to cover slot WR's who haven't run a 4.9 since the 3rd grade. The 40 time was not the reason Te'o dropped, I don't know what it was, but it wasn't that.
My team to Jarvis Jones. I like that pick, we needed a pass rusher and he is exactly that.
Which is why people brought up the 4.9 and that's when you went on your Jarvis defense...
Jones will take over Harrison's role. LeBeau won't have him outta position. I doubt he's going to be out in space covering all that much
He will come in and rush the passer.
So if Teo didn't drop because of the 40...why? Like I said, there are guys that did worse than Te'o, IMO, in the character department.

Just saying....
The worst part of this is that Te'o probably ends up in a dumpster fire like Jacksonville now or somewhere where it will be hard to succeed. Hoping the Skins make a move to trade up for him.

Don't go jumpin on me, but we need to be realistic. Manti is Irish so we root for him, but we can't wear shamrock glasses all the time...How many of those awards you think he gets if they knew about the scandal? He didn't just fall for one prank phone call. Honestly, knowing what we know now, who wouldn't question his judgement? Would you hire him to run your business with no reservations? Sorry, but just trying to keep it real.
Jarvis will be rushing 95% of the time, not covering. Polamalu and Lawrence Timmons will be locking Tyler down.
I really wish Tyler wouldn't have gone to a rival. I almost have to hate him now
Exactly.

He was a naive kid away at college. It's not like he was looking for a piece off a$$ he's mormon. He was looking for someone to connect with. I'm sure looking back now he knows he effed up and saw warning signs, but I didn't feel what he felt, so i can't judge. He didn't just fall for one prank phone call. Honestly, knowing what we know now, who wouldn't question his judgement?
He's not running a business though, you are hiring to play football which he showed last year. This to me is a crazy example to use.Would you hire him to run your business with no reservations?
Troy is done, IMO...Another position they need to address
Probably in the 2nd or 3 round they will address it. But Timmons is by far our best cover linebacker, he could for sure cover Eifert
Nobody will ever know, but he also put together a really damn good season statistically and helped lead a defense that was the reason a team went 12-0. I'd say those awards were earned on the field too.
It's not like Te'o was passed by a bunch of ILBs either. Ogletree (who I think is overrated) went before him, but Te'o is probably going to be the 2nd ILB off the board. That means it's not just on him for the fall. The position was not valued as highly.
