This WR Matthews from Vandy is a boss. Big catch after puking on the field.

I was just going to type that Vandy left Ole Miss too much time. I didn't expect Ole Miss to score on a 75 yard TD run though. That was crazy. Vandy still has a chance.

After watching the first half of the USC v. Hawaii game, it's nice to see some actual football.

Interception! Ole Miss outlasts Vandy!

That Vanady receiver who tipped the int that sealed the deal is BALLING on the sideline. Didn't even take his helmet off, the open area in his facemask is planted firmly on a coach's shoulder.

He probably tipped the INT because he was seeing double. He shouldn't have been put back in the game if he has a concussion, which I think he does.

I don't think he was concussed. The way he got up after it made him look like he got hit hard in the stomach which caused him to puke. Either way huge guts to come back and make that huge 4th down catch.

So happy college football is back!

This. Big situation, big game, big time player but when he's throwing up after a big hit, it's pretty obvious that he most likely has a concussion. Of course the kid probably said he was fine and good to go but the coach needed to be the responsible one. I was shocked to see him in after that.

Huge guts? I know I'm making an assumption by saying he was concussed, but even the announcers said it. They then praised the advances the sport has made in treating concussions, and then praised the player for playing with heart and coming back out. It shouldn't have been his decision if he did suffer a concussion, which I think he did, and I was amazed to hear the announcers glorify him. I'm now interested in seeing if he plays next week.

Edit: After seeing the replay of his head bouncing off the turf, no way he doesn't have a concussion. He shouldn't have been sent back out.

He could be talking about a number of games, but I'm guessing he's referring to USC...

USC has a lot of time to work out the kinks before they play us. Also, keep in mind that they're playing pretty vanilla and conservative right now. I expect that to change in the bigger games. They're just getting Kessler's feet wet, they still may go with Whittek, and Silas Redd is out for now.

And, apparently Whittek is in.

Watching it again I still think he threw up from getting hit hard in the stomach. He didn't seem wobbly or out of it at all and he bend over like anyone would taking a hard shot to the stomach. I will like to see what they say about it later this week.
