Really hard to pick between Jenkins and Kirkpatrick if they are both there for you. Wont argue with taking Jenkins here. But those additional 4 inches of height on Kirkpatrick make him tough to pass on at this point.

very good point and in chicagos scheme he may be a better fit, but i like the speed jenkins brings.

kirkpatrick good end up at safety...he was my other option for sure. if i remember right there's character issues for the both of them so that's a push.

Just what the Bears need...another "character" guy.

The fact that Jenkins has screwed up doesn't bother me...it's that it's been repeated multiple times.

He'll be outta the league in 3 years.

Chiefs just drafted Johnathon Baldwin out of Pitt and are about to franchise Dwayne Bowe, there is no chance of Floyd going to KC. Pick didn't make to much sense.

And the comment that "Dwayne Bowe doesn't give them what Floyd can" is ridiculous. Bowe is a stud. And almost the same style WR.....

Horrible pick based on the pickers love for the Irish.

didn't know we were so lucky to have a resident GM

the nfl would be out of business if you got rid of all the guys with "character" issues

While I don't necessarily agree with your view of Jenkins, I think you are right on with Floyd vs Bowe. We all know that pick was made because patsfan saw that he could take him and couldn't resist taking him as a fan (no offense patfan, but I think deep down you know i'm right). The reality is that there is zero chance that KC would pick Floyd, they would be more likely to trade their pick if they thought that someone wanted him in that spot. WR is the least needed position on their entire team. They are solid at WR and have a lot of other needs. They have a defensive minded coach who comes from the Belichek era of using receivers like Branch. This is just something that would not happen.

That one pick changed the scope of this mock draft. But I am just a spectator, so take this with a grain of salt.

I'd really like to trade this pick and move back for the Titans. If anybody's willing to trade me 5 or 6 Chili Cheese Pups from Krystal, then the pick is theirs.

If I can't swing that move than I'll go with Dre Kirkpatrick. I don't like this pick (some off field issues), but the Titans literally need help at every level of their team (OL, WR, TE, RB, DT, DE, LB, S, CB), and Cortland Finnegan is probably moving from Nashville. So yeah, I'll reluctantly make this Dre Day.

I cannot believe we are are pick #21, and Dontari Poe is still on the Board. Someone is going to get a huge value pick with a run stopping DT. Who's it going to be?

ok well the bengals can go with a lot of different positions here. they desperately need a cb because leon hall wont be ready for most of the season because of a torn acl. nate clements is 32 i believe and pacman is an *** and a free agent anyways. but the only 3 cb's worth taking in this round are gone. the only rb i would take in this round is richardson and he is gone. i think they can get a good rb in a later rd. at wr, jerome simpson wont be coming back imo because of the drug suspension he will get and he was very inconsistent last year. with the 21st pick, i will take kendall wright out of baylor. i wish one of the cb's were there but there not. i think with a.j. green on one side and the speed of wright on the other, i think that is very scary for opposing defenses. you also have gresham at t.e. and either shipley or hawkins in the slot. would be an exciting offense.

Takes plays off and played at Memphis. Ignore what he did at the combine.

I see that we took RGIII with our first pick. I would like to compliment that with a WR but I think Greg Little will be upcoming and I'm hearing Cleveland may look to free agency for a WR so I won't go there. Always hesitate to take a RB even though I think Cleveland needs one that won't get hurt!! I thinking they should go defense with their second pick. They had a good haul last draft with Taylor at DT and Shears at DE so I would look at either LB or DB. Looking at what's left on the board and I'm not being biased here, I would take S Harrison Smith. We all know what Harrison brings to the table. He is rated the second best safety behind Mark Barron. I think Harrison will immediately bring a mature young leadership to the secondary that they can build around with Haden.

You may get a little flak from your fanbase for this one. DE OLB AND OT seem to be bigger needs.

With the 23rd pick the Lions take Jonathon Martin OT Stanford, Lions left tackle Jeff Backus is 34 (unrestricted free agent) and recovering from bicep surgery. Martin has the physical tools to become the blindside tackle here.

With the 24th pick the Pittsburgh Steelers take Cordy Glenn, OG, from Georgia.

The Steeler's offensive line has been like swiss cheese the past few seasons...and injury plagued on top of that. Glenn is a physical specimen to say the least...He's quite athletic for weighing in around 350...He has 4 years of starting experience in the SEC...and has the flexibility to play inside and outside on the O line if needed.

There are many other needs now that the Steelers have ravaged their roster in an attempt to get under the cap...But at this point it'll be Glenn...I was going to take Poe...but I figured they'll get the D figured out...they always do.

They are 10 million under the cap. If the Steelers take Poe, then Hampton will get cut. They could sure use Glenn. Hopefully Haley will be better then Arians.

Yeah they are under the cap now. They let some good players go to do it.

Poe takes a good bit of time off on plays...I'd take him later on...Devon Stills is still available...Lots of guys for the rest to pick.

I have pm'd ReesforHeisman as he has been on the clock for too long. If he doesn't make a selection soon, I will give the pick up to someone to draft for him. Gotta keep this thing moving.

Other than Farriror who they cut yesterday and Ward, who they plan to cut if they haven't already, who else have they released? Hampton won't be back (IMO) due to age and injury. They are an aging team that needs to hit a home run in this draft. Much talk in NE that the Pats will go after Wallace, thus surrendering one of their 2 first rounders. That would be a scary offense w the 2 TEs, Wallace and Welker (assuming they can resign him). The Steelers w 2 first rounders would be great but not at the expense of losing one of the most dynamic playmakers in the game.

Aaron Smith and Chris Kemoeatu. Though both have seen their share of injuries and may have retired anyway.

Several of the mocks I have read have the Broncos taking a DT at #25. I've seen Brockers, Poe and Still all at #25. Think in our draft, Brockers is gone but Poe and Still are still on the Board. But hopefully ReesforHeisman will get his pm and make his selection.
Edit: I should add Fletcher Cox to the list of DT's who are highly regarded and will go in the 1st round. He's a good one.

The Denver media likes Cox and the general view here in Dtown is that they should either take DT or corner with this pick. That being said, they will probably have better DT options at this pick than corners. It's a deep DT class.

Me2 offered me up the Broncos pick, I hope y'all don't mind me joining the frey. So with no further ado....

With the 25th pick in the IE Mock Draft, the Denver Broncos pick Devon Still DT, Penn State

The biggest area of need for the Broncos is clearly the DT position. With great linebacker play, they will look to complement that by choosing a defensive tackle. They will choose Still despite the recent rise of Poe and Cox by draft-nerds because of versatility and attitude. Still is a vocal leader with a ton of confidence. He never takes plays off, has great size (6'5"/303) and excels in both pass rushing and against the run. He can play inside or outside which is a highly valued attribute that John Fox loves in a defensive lineman.

Some of these picks are just baffeling....good thing we're not GM's.

The Texans are surley going to pick Kendall Wright with this pick as he's 99% going to be here when they do(the Browns are gonna trade up and have more holes than just a WR...AJ Green???). So with the 26th pick, running the risk of not grabbing that playmaker to compliment AJ or Foster, I'm going to take PETER KONZ, C WIS as this team as a whole is already very good and if they were healthy, I believe they're the favorites in the AFC. This is simply taking the next best available player and adding depth to a good Oline to begin with. Yes, Chris Meyers is a pro bowl C, but this team has a nasty problem with the injury bug, so anytime you can add depth, it's a good thing. And I wasn't going to stretch for a WR this early as I believe that I can grab one in Rd 2. Not to mention there are some talks about going after Mike Wallace.

Watch out for Jordan White out of Western Michigan. Somebody is going to get a steal with this guy in later rounds. He would be a great late mid round pick for the Texans too.

That's what I was thinking....I'm confident that either him or Hill outta GT or Randle outta LSU.

Consider some of the baffling picks made by actual GMs...(Raiders, Jets specifically come to mind)

Touche'

Of course, I don't see how Micheal Floyd gives the Chiefs something that Dwayne Bowe doesn't. Nor is Harrison Smith going #22....that's a joke. If he does go first round, it'll be in the last 5 picks.

Getting Internal Server errors time and again, it happens whenever I included numbers (height, weight) but not when I spelled them out. Weird. Selecting Fletcher Cox DT, Mississippi St. The six foot four inch, two hundred ninety eight pound Cox, is the type of player that can go inside next to Wilfork and go outside when they align in the three/four. He had a strong combine and the Pats need help at all levels of their D. Cox brings the help up front.

It's littered with them......
