If Welch only tore his ACL, people can commonly recover from that. He'd sit the year out (was 4th on the depth chart) and recover.

Roberson's situation sucks, but he was fifth or sixth on the chart. It's not a loss and is in fact probably the slightest of positives for the program as a whole if they can use the scholarship on a stud. It really really sucks what has happened, but there are positives here.

Spond's situation is by far the worst. I hope it turns out well.

Theres enough bodies at CB with Russell and Shumate moving to CB, and Roberson receiving a medical red shirt opens up the possibility of Cam heading back to his natural position.
