I don’t know what this means but know Tony Rice agrees with me.

I disagree with your takes on this subject but this one truly sucks and is an insult to Tony Rice. Tony wasn't a felon. Tony wasn't accused of committing crimes. Tony happened to not score as high n the ACT/SAT as he needed to and didn't have fantastic grades - other than that he was the kind of kid ND recruited. To lump him into the same category as a kid that allegedly stole a car and guns is disgusting.

I'll reserve judgement on Landon until all the details come out, but this does't look good. If he did do what he is accused of doing then he won't be, nor should he be, at Notre Dame.

The only way he has a chance to get in is if the charges are dropped and even then it would be a long shot.

Idk. If the chargers are dropped and he had zero involvement I don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t be allowed to enroll.

This EXACTLY! Tony Rice is exactly the kind of guy every Notre Dame fan should be proud to see walk across that stage. Absolute Notre Dame guy, and any one that knows him would attest to this. An incredibly poor comparison.

ISD has an article on Facebook that he is no longer with the program.

Yes, Kelly made a public statement that he was released from his LOI. Brutal for ND as I thought he had a ton of potential. What an incredibly stupid thing to do.

People like this just amaze me. God given opportunity and they just piss it away.
Always will be a human story.
I just wonder why he felt the need to be in that situation. We all screw up in the young years and some of us worse than others. It's usually out of what we think we need tho...

A lot of analysts seemed to think he was our best CB prospect from his class. So this only figures.

He's not a better prospect than Watts so whoever is fos. He may be a better athletci prospect than Clarence Lewis but Lewis had better film as a CB.

There's literally just one player I'd rather have lost in the entire class.

Dang. Super athletic kid. He was my sleeper pick in this class. Of the 3 star prospect I pegged to become a big time player.

Most important thing right now is to hope this kid can get his life back in order. Hopefully this is extremely out of the ordinary for him and will be on the straight and narrow for the rest of his life.

What a bummer for the kid. Hard lesson but best wishes that he gets back on right track for his road ahead.

yes, for some reason some people cannot handle success. Signing with ND was probably a very big deal for this kid, a small town recruit who wasn't highly recruited. Its like the guy who lands the big contract and the next thing you know he's in a motel room with hookers and a pile of cocaine (and some cops).
