He was good when he played. He was just in a position where there were too many guys ahead of him.

Didn't the staff basically tell him he didn't have a place on the team at one point? That seems harsher than anything I could say.

Hopefully this means some other guys are coming back and he knew snaps would be limited.

IIRC, he was on track to be a major part of the rotation at NT going into '22 and was opening eyes during bowl prep and the offseason workouts. Then he tore his ACL at the beginning of spring and pretty much lost his entire '22 season. That set him behind guys like Rubio and Onye.

Sucks, but he stuck it out and was a team player. Hope he gets his chance to start somewhere.

Seeing his number is 47... AK-47. Very nice.

Always loved his potential. Sometimes the chips just don't fall your way. So long as the kid was first class while here and exiting, it is always great to still see them succeed elsewhere.
