Does anyone have an updated announcement time? Last I saw was from 2 days ago and it's "between 7:30pm - 8pm".

I assume that's eastern time.

I saw that time listed as well, but Prister's Film Room article from today referenced that we would find out his decision this afternoon.

His 247 page indicates his announcement is in a little less than 5 hours from now. That would be around 4:20 eastern time. But those countdowns have not really been reliable either. So I don't really know.

Deal may choose Auburn, but I'm pretty confident that Andrew has absolutely no special insight by making this prediction.

Andrew Ellis Crystal Ball predictions almost always follow the momentum of what other experts are predicting. I don't think he usually has any true insight to what a recruit is likely to do. Take for example Nana's recruitment. He was one of the few non-Texas homers to flip him to Texas. I think he just spends a tremendous amount of time following what others predict and goes along for the ride.

With that said, I do watch Ellis's predictions, because they are not VIP'd and you can get a feel of what is happening with various recruits, because he is likely in the majority.

That seems to be the thought. If depth chart is really important to him, he'll go with Auburn. They are bringing in another TE and between the two, someone is going to be getting starter minutes. At least that's the way I understand it. Obviously at ND, he's an auto RS, maybe ST's duty.
