For a while it seemed that coaching staff was putting an emphasis on the big bodied skill position players on offense, but the four listed above break that mold. They all share the same skill sets; fast, slippery players that would cause major headaches if they get into open field. I don't think this means anything major, but it makes you wonder if the staff is trying to increase the team speed on offense.

They've been saying that much for years actually, it's just that they've only started getting good traction the past 2 cycles.

We’ve recruited speed beyond the last two cycles. Some of that speed just didn’t end up being productive and some of it did. Will Fuller, Chris Brown, CJ Sanders, ESB, and Stepherson. All sub 4.5 guys, I’d bet.

Also, I do remember them specifically saying it 2 cycles ago on NSD, when discussing the upcoming class as we had lost Fuller. IMO, they’ve been more vocal about it the last two NSD’s than previously.

Awesome!!! It sounded like we were out of it earlier today. This is the type of 3* athlete that Big 12 programs like Baylor and WVU have utilized to great effect in recent years.

Some bizarre stuff going on and I assume some of it is the staff grinding for players they like so things will change quickly. Loy said earlier today this was a done deal, not to ND. Love this kid as an ATH. We’ll see how it goes.
