Best of luck!
Maybe so. Guess I just get frustrated. It's a completely different environment today.Really really bad take
Not the case here at all
ND played Ohio State and USC on the road, both teams won 11 games and Ohio State was a MHJr injury away from likely winning the national title. They also played 11 win Clemson, who won the ACC.We lost to Marshall and Stanford in ‘22. The schedule was definitely easier that year.
The numbers indicate we were better as an ol unit this year against tougher competition overall.
Yes, this is a good point. Heading into this season it certainly looked like this year's schedule was going to be much tougher but now that the season has ended we should reassess. Several of the SOS ranking sites, including Colley Matrix and Sagarin, have ND's final '22 SOS ranked as tougher than their '23 SOS.ND played Ohio State and USC on the road, both teams won 11 games and Ohio State was a MHJr injury away from likely winning the national title. They also played 11 win Clemson, who won the ACC.
This year, Ohio State won 11 games, but was noticeably worse without Stroud at QB. USC and Clemson were worse than expected. The only real surprise was Louisville, who won 10 games, but as we saw, they couldn't do anything against FSU with their 3rd string QB. So they weren't that good.
Doesn't excuse the absolute shit shows that those games were, but I'd say the schedule in '22, in terms of opposition, was harder. What made this year's schedule challenging was the fact that they had to play 8 straight games without a bye and played 4 straight prime-time games against undefeated teams.

Chill dude.He has NOT been elite. LOL
Does anyone who calculates stats actually watch football?
They get killed up the middle. They must blame all the sacks and pressures on the two Guards. LOL
And they can’t even run the ball up the middle. That’s what pisses their fan base off the most on offense, the inability to get a push at all up the middle. Just like it bothered ND fans when ND couldn’t get any push up the middle with Zeke at Center.
He has been below average at best this year. They can’t run up the middle or move the ball. Their fans are pissed about how bad they are.
That's just how "Coach D" speaks.Chill dude.

Chill dude.
Just be happy for him. He did what he could for us.
if something goes just right, maybe he could get drafted and pick up a paycheck before they decided he just wasn't strong enough.
I recall Mustipher getting bowed back LOTS for us and he got the same NFL break. Happy for him too.
Honor the OLine guys. Almost all of them work hard for no glory.
Ugh. Gotta feel for the guy.
