Tell us how you really feel. Don’t sugar coat it…He’s absolutely fucking terrible
Mrs. Correll, is that you? This is who he’s been since he’s been ND’s starting center. He’s too small, doesn’t have a mean streak to him, and gets pushed back way too easily if he goes up against someone that is his size or bigger than him.hmmm. I'm looking back and I see that Aug 18th is the last post in this thread.
Whatever, man
Everybody's going tits up right now, so sure.
Bumb up Zack's blown play and have fun.
Do you disagree or just don't want only positive things about all our players, despite having a bad season?hmmm. I'm looking back and I see that Aug 18th is the last post in this thread.

Who are the options for center next year maybe we move someone there because Craig Didn't look good either.Do you disagree or just don't want only positive things about all our players, despite having a bad season?
Zeke was getting blown up by CMU, NC State, OSU, Duke, louisville, clemson......... YAY
He's just not a capable center, way too small, slow, and weak. When a coaches only compliment of you as a football player is you are tough, that's not good.
Craig was our top rated olinemen grade wise by pff … I was there in person, didn’t notice him in a bad way, can’t stomach re watching last 1.5 quarters yetWho are the options for center next year maybe we move someone there because Craig Didn't look good either.
There's been too much sugar coating around these partsTell us how you really feel. Don’t sugar coat it…
If Schrauth wins a guard spot, Coogan could slide inside.Who are the options for center next year maybe we move someone there because Craig Didn't look good either.
Did we ever get confirmation why Balis left abruptly? He was clashing with Freeman too.If Schrauth wins a guard spot, Coogan could slide inside.
MF needs to hire a new S&C coach first. The interior of the line needs to get better.
Wrong. He looked much better for the 20-30 snaps he was in there. As someone else mentioned, he graded out the highest, we never heard the announcers mention his name after he was put into the game, and all the beat writers talked about him looking good while he was in there.Who are the options for center next year maybe we move someone there because Craig Didn't look good either.
In game threads Correll has been blasted absolutely all season for multiple seasons, same with DJ Brown, and Marist at times as well (he's like jeckyll and hyde). It just got so bad vs clemson that for the first time someone pulled up zekes thread, probably since he went out and backups came in.I may be wrong, but I think IrishBoognish's intent was there are a lot of people on here just bitching and moaning about everyone and everything since the Clemson game. Correll has not been good all year. Where has the bitching and moaning been since the season started? "F" it, since he's his position coach, let's pile on Rudolph while were at it.
I am totally fine piling on Rudolph. The o-line has been a total disappointment. Alt is an all-american left tackle - he is doing great. Everyone else has been average to down-right atrocious at times. I consider Correll and Fisher to have taken steps back. I think the line would be performing much better with Hiestand - and trust me, I am not the biggest Hiestand fanI may be wrong, but I think IrishBoognish's intent was there are a lot of people on here just bitching and moaning about everyone and everything since the Clemson game. Clemson has an excellent defensive front seven so it's not exactly shocking that they won that matchup.I am totally fine piling on Rudolph. The o-line has been a total disappointment. IMO, the bigger issue was a game plan that absolutely depended on winning that matchup.
On both sides. Goldens game plan or at minimum late adjustments wasn't very smart vs clemson either. Clemson was selling out to stop our run, rightfully so, and force obvious passing downs. Yeah we hit 3-4 really good runs, but more runs for nothing. We didn't sell out to stop clemsons run until really the end of 3rd/fourth quarter.Clemson has an excellent defensive front seven so it's not exactly shocking that they won that matchup.

I said the same out loud to nobody in particular (I was alone) when that play got blown up. EmbarrassingYou'd have to be crazy not to put a nose on him every play.
This^ Meanwhile the ND beat writers are lauding the defense for “shutting Clemson down” in the 2H. First off, they shouldn’t be getting gashed by a shitty anemic offense in the first place. Yet the usual suspects plus some other veterans who are usually solid all decided to shit the bed.On both sides. Goldens game plan or at minimum late adjustments wasn't very smart vs clemson either. I just don't get why we didn't quickly change out plan to stop their run once they started having success, realizing we need to let Kade throwing the ball beat us. He only threw it well against our backups.
WE lost to clemson and they had what, right around 100 yards passing. You tell me that before the game, and I think we win by 14+. Clemsons last 6 drives when we truly committed more to stopping the run they had 25 total yards.
That possession with the backups in was bizarre. Watching it I was afraid they were all hurt. Then they all came back in. WTF. ABC, of course, was clueless. Has Freeman offered an explanation anywhere about this? This^ Meanwhile the ND beat writers are lauding the defense for “shutting Clemson down” in the 2H. And then you “rest” the essential part of the secondary and replace them w/ inexperienced back ups for an entire possession? Was MF/AG surprised when Clemson completed an easy TD drive w/ their underperforming 5* QB exposing the backups? Surely, the coaches aren’t so naive as to think “well Mickey had a pick 6 & Gray had a circus catch for a pick last week so they should be fine”. Pitt is the shittiest offense in the nation and lest we forget…Mickey got picked on by that shitty Pitt QB early and often before finally getting the pick six.

As I expected, he said it was planned rest. That possession with the backups in was bizarre. Watching it I was afraid they were all hurt. Then they all came back in. WTF. ABC, of course, was clueless. Has Freeman offered an explanation anywhere about this?
Not just that, but couldnt Hart and Morrison have rested on separate drives? Why rest both your starters at the same time?yea scheduled rest shouldn't be an entire series. In high school we "schedule" rest, but also keep eyes on the situation. for defense it's scheduling a break at the beginning of a series, but if they cross midfield, dudes are on the field.
Clemson had 6 first down plays on that drive, threw it on 5 of the 6 first down plays. Are you kidding me golden/Freeman. Clemson OC Riley "Mickey/Gray in, execute pass offense plays."As I expected, he said it was planned rest.
I think Freeman struggles mightily with in-game adjustments as HC.
At that point, that's a really good time for the HC to be like, you know what. We've started flat, on the road, maybe now is not the time to sub out the entire secondary. They do it anyways. We get shredded.
What DC isn’t going to put someone head-to-head on Correll now? The kid has heart & desire & gives 100% but he just can’t win those battles vs defenders head up on him b/c he’s smaller than all of them. Does 3rd string true freshman Ashton Craig get 1st team reps during the bye & leading up to WF?Clemson has an excellent defensive front seven so it's not exactly shocking that they won that matchup.

Craig should definitely start over CorrellWhat DC isn’t going to put someone head-to-head on Correll now? I don't think you can start Correll anymore. He simply hasn't been effective at all for weeks, and Clemson was an all-time low for him. What DC isn’t going to put someone head-to-head on Correll now? I think starting zeke this year was really lazy by the staff. It was the easy choice with his experience but if you watched his film last few years he’s just not physically capable of holding up. Feels like dj brown starting too. Neither of them have ever showed much potential, they e played poorly but are experienced within the system.I don't think you can start Correll anymore. It's funny how Correll is listed at 6'3 306, while Craig is 6'4 307, despite it being PAINFULLY obvious that Craig is a lot bigger than Correll. I'd be shocked if Correll was much bigger than 6'2 295.
