He’s a chain mover. Gets tough yards and first downs. Gives the offense a mismatch with his receiving skills.
Yeah I know. It's just crazy to have so many yards that way. My point was you don't usually see a tough yards back compile this many yards in a season.

Refresh my memory
Fuzzy on this, but if I remember correctly...

Kyren wasn't part of the Koon Bod Squad™, and Koon was convinced this meant that Kyren would never be productive, wasn't good enough to be a starter (let alone make the NFL), and was certain it was proof that ND can't win or recruit.

Did he get hurt late in the game? I don’t recall seeing him after he scored the TD. Corum seemed to get every rep after that.

Kyren was on fire in the second half. Was one of the differences in the game.
And yet in the coverage after the game they said jack shit about him being a key to their victory. They had 3 players of the game and didn't mention him once. I was like wth?

ND prepares you for this! The cold ain't a thing for Kyren. That used to be the school's answer when recruits with NFL aspirations talk about going to college somewhere warm. Schools used to (And maybe still do) negatively recruit against ND using the weather as a reason to stay away.

Love Kyren. Does anyone else get Kyren vibes when watching Aneyas? Their games seem super similar to me.
Quite a few similarities. Kyren was much more likely to shuffle step towards the line, waiting for a small crease to develop and confidence that he could make the first guy miss. Aneyas is more likely to hit the designed hole hard.
