Yeah, it's a good thing he didn't jeopardize his day three or UDFA status to help us win our first New Year's Bowl game in like 30 fucking years.

By the logic used above, any player with a semblance of a chance of making a NFL roster should sit out once a team has 2 losses and they’ve proven themselves. Need to take a stand somewhere or it will kill the sport.

He owed his team to play out the season or to have not accepted being a team captain. He didn’t owe me shit but he owed him team living up to the C which at a minimum is playing out the season you were named captain if not injured. Not sure why that is so controversial

Whether or not he should have or whether or not he owed it to anyone to do so aside, anyone who doesn't think Kyren could have been been a difference in that game is clowning themselves. There are multiple key plays where Kyren 100% gets the 1st down and at a minimum extends a drive whereas Diggs didn't.

Honestly I don't think we're far from this. I'm not sure what the difference is between sitting out a bowl game and sitting out a "meaningless" game in November after your teams is out of the playoffs. Chance of injury is the same.
