Am I the only person that thinks JT Daniels is actually good?
I think he ”looks” like a good QB when he throws but then I also see that he went from USC, to UGA, to WVU and now Rice without really making much of a lasting positive impact. Injuries haven’t helped him out either. The talent around him will obviously be less at Rice as opposed to his prior three stops so it’ll be interesting to see what happens this season.

Building your numbers on a ND offense vs a WVU offense is apples to oranges. Drew wasn’t as good as Tommy Rees and that’s a pathetic bar. Sorry but JT might have had a better destiny behind a good OL with a running game. Of course he would have had that shitty OC.
Yeah, he's on his 4th stop because all the other schools sucked, he was just really unlucky.

Is he available immediately then to be our new QB coach?

He left school 1 year early. That ruined him.
He is already 23, turning 24 inFebruary. He only played three years in high school, but he was old for his grade. I thought I read somewhere that his parents held him back in middle school, similar to Drew Pyne.

CJ Carr, Jimmy Clausen too it’s a common ploy for families to give their kids an advantage come their senior years
