The right offer, 7 months late.

Plays Brock Wright's team this weekend in the playoffs.

With Herman taking over at Texas - i can see Texas recruits reverting back to the past...committing to Texas.

Herman? The guy from Houston? The guy who let Walker Little go to Stanford? Austin Deculus and Marvin Wilson go to LSU? The guy who couldn't flip Brock Wright? Somehow he had 0 pull in Houston with a loaded class... amazing. Still has just 1 of Texas' Top 20 and he's been committed since 5th grade. I really thought he'd have a bigger splash. I bet the alumni and Athletic Dept did too.

Hey now - just like any new coach - they don't have the relationship. They showed Houston's recruiting area during a game once and practically all of his recruits were around the Houston area - they were saying how it's nice not having to go across the country to get players of decent caliber for Houston. So i'm sure he wasn't going crazy bonkers recruiting those guys. So he never had that relationship where Brock has been ND for months on end, Deculus has been LSU for months on end and i'm sure Little and Wilson have already had their minds made up and relationships built. Herman came in too late to Texas for those boys. But i'm sure 2018 < will be big for him.

Not just this, but this time last year fans were crying about how bad Texas 2016 class was... and then Charlie Strong cleaned up on NSD to save his class. There is still time in 2017.

He made that relationship with Ed Oliver who was a 5 star. Was he a sucky 5 star?

Pretty sure Herman offered the four I listed too. They're all right there in Houston why not? Harbaugh would've ridden shirtless on a horse, Putin style over to their houses and recruited them... ESPECIALLY when he know's he was option #1 at the 3 heavies that recruit Houston, LSU, A&M and UT... all of which had hot seat coaches that there was a 99% he was going to fill.

And back to Houston, if Fertitta was sinking the time and energy to get Houston in the BIG 12, shouldn't Houston be recruiting those players to compete in that conference?

I was initially only half kidding but the truth is, I'm really surprised Herman didn't create havoc immediately. I guarantee if PJ Fleck was in that position, he would have made a circus out of it.

BREAKING: Top100 4-star QB Colson Yankoff commits to Washington

Big time news ND seems to be in a better spot then we realized and he wants to get to campus asap. Really likes Lyght and that we only signed one corner last year. Clemson might be the early leader with OSU, ND, Texas and Bama in that group. Heard that OSU might be the dark horse

Thanks for the insight but don't understand the posted link for the Washington QB commit in this thread.

No Bama? Surprising, but good. Bad news, USC is lurking as are the Criminoles.

Wiltfong and Ramos just added CB's for OSU.

That's the last 10 CB's for OSU including both UT guys. It's looking like a wrap.

Major Buckeye lean per Wiltfong

Sheffield, Cook, Okudah, Pryor, Woodbey, Proctor, Wade

Would take ND 15 years to grab that and OSU does it in under a year. I'm very jealous

I don't know what's worse... all the talent you listed above or the fact that you left out:

Amir Riep, Marcus Williamson & Sevyn Banks

lol those are just the top guys off top of my head. We would be doing kart wheels if ND lands any of those guys you listed. And I completely forgot about them. Might have to add Houston Griffith to that list. Make it 20 years
