Sorry off topic, but, was walking through Walmart down the razor isle and passed by the Just for Men. For a second I swear I saw Hartman on the box. He should reach out to them for sponsorship.

For some reason he's giving off a Ryan Day look in your avatar

At times in the past, Navy has really sold out to stop the run and we haven’t been as capable as making them pay for it over the top.

If they do that tomorrow, Hartman is going to light them the fuck up.
I really want to see an actual audible called from our QB. A designed run audibling to a downfield pass play. All our qbs were allowed to do was switch protections, run right vs left, or quick pass out wide on a called run play. Kelly/Long/Rees did not have their QBs ready to where they could see an all out blitz and quickly audible to a quick slant pass play in the vacated area. That had to come from the sideline, and if a team waited to show their blitz until less than 15 seconds on the clock, we coulfn't change it fast enough having to get call in from booth/sideline/to qb.

Guy is seeing the ND college quarterback on Just for Men boxes. Talk about a true fan.

When BK was calling plays or when it was "BK's" offense. The goal was to eventually have the QB capable of reading the box/defense and making a decision on run versus pass. Kelly would call in a run play and a pass play and the QB would decide what was best. It's actually what allowed Rees to have the success that he did. Although extremely limited physically, he had a great mind for the game. It's also what torpedo other talents because it became too much. Ex. Everett Golson.

Exactly…. And it was reported book was hesitant to change to the pass and they had to force him to throw it, especially downfield

Put all this NIL talk to the side, in the short time that Hartman has been at ND it's impressive to see how he has embraced his opportunity, how humble he has been- he is a perfect fit for ND & I haven't been this excited at the QB position since Clausen. He has been a class act off the field and in practice.

Hartman is the perfect piece to what this offense needs. We've all been waiting, it's finally here!!

I’ve gotta think he made some endorsement money off of that game alone
