I'm not gonna argue with you for the sake of arguing because almost every kid ND lands is someone who comes from a state/region where another school reigns supreme. ND has beaten OSU for guys they wanted and will continue to do so. I never said ND would have landed Gill, even conceded they probably don't get him either way, but to win you have to first be in the race. Gill couldn't get in so staff couldn't really sell him on why ND over OSU, that is the moment nothing else mattered. Unless you want ND to not even try to kick tires on kids who are rumored to be going elsewhere? If we did that we'd land next to no one.

If you can't get decent grades as a football player at OSU... Well, I hope you feel guilty because some professor is getting fired.
