I'll be at MSG for the game! Hopefully there'll be a big Irish turnout, the team is playing insanely good basketball, and a victory will give us some comfort for playing in the Big East tourney at MSG as well.
GO IRISH!

NCAA College Basketball Preview - Notre Dame Fighting Irish at St. John's Red Storm - Feb 25, 2012 - CBSSports.com

Notre Dame has been ranked each of the last three times it has faced St. John's in Madison Square Garden only to fall every time.

...

St. John's is 0-10 against ranked opponents for the worst record in the nation. The Red Storm, however, are seeking three straight wins for the first time since Dec. 17-27.

...

Notre Dame is shooting 38.9 percent on 3-pointers during this win streak. That's in stark contrast to St. John's, which owns one of the nation's worst marks in conference play at 28.1 percent - lowest in the Big East.

...

St. John's has used five freshman starters with junior college newcomer God'sgift Achiuwa the only reserve in the last two games. The lack of depth has forced the Red Storm to mainly employ a zone defense.

"They'll play kind of a matchup zone against us the whole game," Brey said. "They're only playing six guys so we have to be good against the zone like we were against Syracuse."

Too bad WV couldn't knock off Marquette last night, adds some pressure to the rest of the games.
I think the biggest thing today is getting a feel for MSG and preping for the conference tourney.

Slow start by the fellas. Down 7-1 with a Cooley free throw being the only point. St. John's zone defense seems to be affecting the Irish, as they haven't looked comfortable on offense yet. Hopefully the boys can knock down a few shots after the timeout and get this offense going.

Laughably bad shooting... and then also not rebounding. Classic way to lose a game.

Terrible foul call. I think we are going on a run here now though
