What gets me is the 5 star WRs and QBs committing knowing Bama is very heavy run first, second throw third. I can understand the stud RBs and defense guys.

I agree that Saban does a tremendous job at selling their program. Kids buy into it every year. Just hate it as so many times, he can just pick whomever he wants.......smh

If we can finish this year strong and duplicate it next year, I can see BK picking whomever he wants.

They need a stud WR every 3 years or so. Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, now Calvin Ridley. I wonder who's taking up the mantle next year

Exactly. Plus, unless I'm playing for an air raid I can totally see the value as a top WR playing for a team like Alabama. Play action is an awesome tool to get deep in one on one coverage.

Except you dont really get to exhibit your skills to pro scouts. Any WR can run straight and catch a bomb 1v1 coverage

Amari Cooper did. If I knew that Bama already had a super stud that's receiving the majority of targets, Bama would not be on my list. But if you can be that Cooper or Ridley, take it.

Sure, but stats tell a story too. And plenty of top WRs that get drafted need to polish route running. They still get by on athleticism and running past guys. Cooper is an example. Jaelen Strong, Will Fuller, etc all needed to do better at route running.

It doesn't make a tons of sense to be a third-option WR on Alabama, but the #1 guys seem to do pretty good in the draft. I wouldn't worry about them!

Will seems to be doing fine in the league.

Heyward-Bey is still on an NFL roster after years of showing poor hands and only 1 route

Going to Bama does not upset me nearly as much. Saban sells a great program, just a crap academic school. But lets face it, so few of these kids are actually going to school for the degree, especially when they are top ranked.

Sadly, Sabans sales pitch isnt true for most the cases. Most the Bama players are not going to the pros and then you have guys working street cleaning detail in Tuscaloosa remembering glory days.

May want to check the majors and graduation rates for michigan and alabama football players. Saban does as well as any coach at a football factory in getting his players to graduate. It can be argued that Saban, at alabama, does a better job of preparing players for life after football than Harbaugh at michigan, regardless of any arbitrary academic ranking.

Wasnt Hairball the guy bitching while at Stanford about Mich graduation majors and classes?

Is this a guy who might get offered as a C near the end of the cycle?

I thought there was a chance but if he's flipping to Bama at this point when he's been on ND's radar for 3+ years plus all the other tie-ins... HH had to have given him the final no at some point you'd think.

3 year starter at Bama. If he stays healthy, he'll end up starting 42-44 games. In regards to health, he's logged 1000+ snaps per year.

Sporting News Pre-Season First Team All American with Patterson and Skoronski.

3 of my all-time fav's.

I can't recall who missed this eval?

I guess it falls on HH but who really knows?

Kaptain Krawfish had disfunction after disfunction in his recruiting structure that is now all too apparent.
