FML. We're going to get so creamed by Clemson.

What are the odds this kid ever makes an impact on the field?

well, look on the bright side... since it's a free-pass-covid-eligibility year, doesn't even have to apply for a medical lol...

gosh this just sucks.

Syracuse is only down 6 midway through the 3rd quarter and this is AT Clemson. Never know what is going to happen.

IDK. I've got one eye on it. Some very flukee stuff led to all 3 Syracuse scores.

Pick 6 of TL, 80+ yard pass by Cuse, bad punt by Clemson that led to a TD.

I get it, any given Saturday and all, but we rarely have that kind of luck lol.

Sounds like Lawrence has struggled w/ accuracy lately. Syracuse dropped a sure interception before the pick six.

Yea, maybe. He'll still end up with 300+, 3 TDs, 20+ point win before the game is over.
Not "Clemson" impressive, but not bad either.

Lol when Book doesn't show up, we score 12 points. When Lawrence has a bad day, Clemson still puts up points lol

Clemson had the good luck toward the end with a Syracuse fumble returned for a TD and then an interception returned 40 yards to the Syracuse 3 with an eventual TD sandwiched around a Lawrence TD pass and they 21 unanswered points helps them win 47-21.

Best part of his TD is he knows he’s got the DB and doesn’t pull off to separate and and extend hands till he needs to. Confident.

He was really good for the quarter he played. Good job from the O coaches to get the some of the WRs in the game for 10 minutes!!

Needs way more snaps and targets. Period.
Give this man the Michael Floyd play book Tommy used to throw to him.

We desperately need a consistent WR or two to take the heat off Mayer. Here's hoping it finally clicks for Austin, he stays healthy, and he stays out of trouble! He was great on that drive in the 3rd quarter.

maybe he was faster pre leg injury. Still looks pretty good minus the hands which are bad.

Think he’s a late round pick right now with a ceiling of a 2nd round pick if he comes back. Like others mentioned, doesn’t look as twitchy as I guess I expected. Plus the hands obviously.

Regardless, ND could use a transfer WR or 2 next year that’s for sure. 2019 and 2020 recruiting classes were busts.

Very obvious he's still trying to figure things out game speed wise. We need him next year plain and simple

I really wish he had caught that ball on the 5 on the first drive.

Yeah, I think we all were upset after that drop. But thought that he bounced back nicely to make some plays. A couple 50/50 balls to him (the pick being one) were bad throws.

He’s still not getting separation like I thought he was capable. I pictured him being a similar to London this year but obviously isn’t on that level, yet anyway. Another year I think he could get there.

You don't think Austin, Lenzy, Styles, Colzie, Thomas and the incoming freshman can be enough star power?

I'm all for proven commodities if we can get one as a GT but we certainly have some really young talent capable of playing big boy football. Early returns on the freshman class are really good. The incoming freshman are all EEs if I'm not mistaken?

The key is we need Austin and Lenzy to return, at least to show the young guys how to approach the game and they offer some big play potential if they can step up their game and if we have a QB who can throw a deep ball on time.

He's been dropping easy balls on big plays the last two games. Gotta fix those hands, or get more reps to the younger guys.
