The more Crusader talks about this kid, the more I want him.

If we pick up one of Willis/Smith/Sarrell, isn't this the type of kid who you bring in, and give him 2-3 years in the system and see what you have at that time? Seems like he may develop into something given time and, with the other names that are on campus or will be a part of 2017 class, we may not need him to contribute right away. He may also understand the value of the ND education more than some other options, making him there for potentially 5 years.

I think Eze is a bigger project than most realize. His ceiling is really high, but OL is something Notre Dame hasn't had a problem recruiting and more than likely will out recruit Eze in the next two classes.

As someone said, I think that Notre Dame can get more advanced lineman and prepare them for the NFL versus taking a risk on project and hoping they mold into the a starter.

Def wouldn't be mad if Eze ended up in Notre Dame's class, but I don't think it'd be the smartest decision for him football wise to go to Notre Dame if they offered.

How old is this 'kid', really? That picture on the previous page looks like it's from the 80s.

He has got to be around 35, right?

Quotes:

"I choose Memphis because I have a great relationship with them," Eze said. "Recruiting is hard and people lie and say what they want but I was able to believe in them and trust them. They have a great business school and I found myself a great opportunity to play. I feel comfortable over there.”
While the decision may raise some eyebrows, Eze let it be known that he's his own man.
"My message has always been, me going to Memphis is like showing who I am as a person," Eze said. "Like I’ve always said, I don’t give a crap about names and conferences and big places. I give a crap about relationships and where I feel comfortable and who I can trust."
