Don Brown doing his thing.

Yeah. No surprise here, especially as Id assume Brown had recruited him to BC initially. Sucks for us though. Michigan is gonna have ALL the defensive linemen.

Once you got rid of BVG, we should have re-evaluated all the ROLB/WDE prospects that we'd previously looked at. Kwity being one of them, he should've been offered. To me he's a no risk player. Great fit, hard worker, great motor, etc. Worst case scenario, he's a committed ST's player, who also pushes guys like D. Hayes, harder in practice.

If what the staff wants is for the defense to have a higher motor, for guys to play with more passion and energy. How you look at Kwity and say no, is somewhat mind boggling to me. One way to get talented "entitled" players to play harder, is to get someone next to them, that is going harder than they are.

I just don't want to hear three of four years from now, about this kid being a first, second, or third round draft pick, a total stud in college, and how bad he wanted to play at ND but never got an offer. It might not turn out like that but can't say that it hasn't in the past. I know it's a big what if, but clearly I'm not on the staff and they could care less what I think.

Looks like it did turn out like that.

There's a video going around that supposedly confirms that Kwity ran a 6.37 3 cone. That would be possibly the fastest 3 cone time ever recorded

Former OU DB Jordan Thomas ran a 6.28 in 2019, but Kwity would be second all time. As an edge rusher that's shockingly fast

He'll be an interesting pro to follow. For a guy that could be the top edge rusher taken, he doesn't have that type of production. In his last 16 games he had 8.5 sacks. That's a lower sack rate/game than say, Julian Okwara, who had 13 over this last 22 games.
