Brother, do you have problems when LSU is your dream school...

Why? Great fan base and gameday atmosphere. Helps that they're putting DBs in the NFL every year. If I were a talented enough defensive back as a highschool senior to receive an offer from LSU, it would be a school I'd give serious consideration to.

Without looking, his dad went to Tech, Monroe or Lafayette. So good chance he has a lot of family down there and like IM3 said... LSU has been a dB factory. It wouldn't surprise me if they were #1 in NFL DB's over the past decade.

Huge get for the Bearcats. Fickell is crushing the recruiting game (at least for his defensive backfield; his first four commits are all DB's).

Must be a grades/progression thing going on here if ND didn't push for this kid. His SEC dreams never materialized via offers, so I assume the big dogs don't think he can cut it athletically at the highest level.

Unless, of course, he just showed no interest in wanting to play school.

Ah, the dreaded "stuff."

Cincy has never been afraid of taking those guys (because they kind of need to), and they've always done a good job of keeping them in line. Hopefully Fickell keeps the boat steady in that regard.

Because this place is as much fun as a funeral home lately, thought I'd catch up with some of the more interesting recruits from the '17 class and see how (and where) they ended up.

First one I came across was RJ Potts. When I firt became aware of Potts he was a 6-1/175 Soph safety. Being the son of Roosevelt Potts we all figured there would be some size gains. His recruitment tailed off with ND as did his early high R&R's and he ended up at Cincinnati. He redshirted last season and is now listed as a 6-3/223 LB.
