When is the last time we could actually attack the throw game, a true pass rusher. IDK? Justin Tuck comes to mind...

We NEED D help...losing the number 113 or whatever WR doesn't bother me so much.

Well this loss probably does impact the defense, unless we pick up at leaSt 1 more WR.

If we finish with only Micheal Young, there's a chance Isaac Robertson plays WR for us rather than safety. So this very well mat indirectly impact the D.

Put them all on f-ing defense if they can help stop the ball from moving, get off the field on 3rd down. Tired watching this comedy show we call defense.

Did not like losing Werner, at all. Hate Cathedral.

If he goes to Knoxville, it will be a Top 10 flake move of all time. Maybe Top 5.

Bunch of CBs to Texas today. lmao

Jeter, Pouncey. smh

It's too bad. I think Pouncey is going to be a great college WR. He very obviously loves the attention and drama of recruiting way too much to have stayed committed to Notre Dame.

I never would have guessed this guy would have turned out like this. Reminds me of this shy girl from HS that never went out, never dated... I come home from Spring Break and she's a porn star.

Geek to freak overnight.

Yup. Aside from that, who would you prefer really, Pouncey or Armstrong?

Armstrong. Great support group with 2 friends coming to ND, comes from a Catholic sports factory, he's had A LOT of production in his high school career, I think he was a 4 year starter and All State 3 years... albeit against lesser comp but he's a multi time state sprint champ so he's not slow. That's not a knock on Pouncey. His 40 and 100 times aren't very impressive but what I see on film is a guy who has that effortless 4th to O/D shift. I hate to compare it to Will Fuller but that's what it reminded me of. When you consider where and who he's playing, you know he's serious football fast.

I just think Armstrong's a safer bet. Oh and he's a thick too. We're talking about a 205 WR that's 10.8 fast.

Sorry I'm slow. But, what does Jeter have to do with Pouncey and or Texas.

Not slow at all, just probably not clear on my part. Slightly different. Pouncey seems a bit indecisive.

Jeter took some shots at ND that seemed immature and bitter. Didn't he really decommit due to something academic? I know he took a shot at BK - regardless if deserved - not something you normally see.

Linking them only in that they don't really seem like ND is the right fit for them.

I agree. Good to hear you feel this would be a good replacement. Hope it happens.

I don't think Pouncey really loves the recruiting attention or the bad rep you guys are giving him. I just don't think he wanted to be at ND anymore. He really did like ND, I mean for Christmas he asked for an unofficial to ND and got it, he was obviously interested. Maybe he just didn't feel as strongly as he once did and he liked Miami more. Then he moved on and waited to long and doesn't have a spot at Miami anymore hence why Texas leads

I really have a hard time faulting a kid who recruited for ND and didn't mad mouth ND or anything. He might have used the Denbrock leaving excuse to decommit but he had a lot of respect for Denbrock but maybe he didn't want to see who his new WR coach and OC was going to be and he got his dream offer from Miami and almost jumped on it now he waited to long. Never can fault a kid for wanting to play for his dream school. Good luck JP7, I will keep an eye on ya at Tuxas. He will put up some numbas in Hermans offense

Miami picked up a WR today, I saw Texas was last to lead...not signed yet. Does he re-commit to ND??

I highly doubt he will be Irish but looks like it won't be Miami after all
