Stop.

Our boy Breezy was a long striding, track guy coming out of high school. What we have here is a GO route specialist and your 4 year KR. He's GAIII with some wiggle.

And your boy Breezy wasn't all that great either. Dude never topped 600 yards for all that speed. And scored a handful of TD's.

If we're going to take a project WR, why not that Kippenhammer WR or whatever who's in Indiana and actually really fast?

Taking some project WR's in this class isn't a bad idea considering we will return about everyone next year and we start a Freshman now. It will be hard to crack the depth chart.

I was speaking athletically. This is a 10.7/100 and national triple jump champion here. Those don't grow on trees and Amazon doesn't deliver them either. Back to Brown, he did throw up 1400 yards receiving as the #4, #3, #2 in his career playing along a lot of NFL talent. Everyone can't top 1000 yds. Do you think ND's current WR crew is not all that great besides ESB? Seems most folks think they're loaded(?)

If we're going to take a project WR, why not that Kippenhammer WR or whatever who's in Indiana and actually really fast?

This kid is a better player and as Panda mentioned, there's the possibility to play safety because of his build. He has 20+ pounds on Hippenhammer and's faster playing against better competition. Undefeated on the #5 team in Bama's top division.

Wow look at that offer list. Is ND really that desperate to get players? I get the diamond in the rough thing but how many cross your finger projects do you want that you hope turn out? Pretty much been the history for our DL in the recent years.

Looks better than:

Villanova
Townson
Temple
Toledo
Rutgers
Penn St
Old Dominion
UMass
Delaware
Bowling Green
BC

And Will Fuller turned out ok.

Here's the best WR in college football this year's offer list:

Western Michigan

I wish Denbrock would have been desperate enough to offer that project from Chicago, Corey Davis.

Why can we not recruit safeties to play safety d-linemen to play the d-line I understand kids grow and you move them. You have to have a certain mentality to play defense.

Studstill, Morgan, Perry, Tranquill, Sebastian, Nico, and Redfield, all were HS safeties. The only guy that is currently on the team that you could argue wasn't, would be Elliot and even he played both ways in HS.

DL: Rochell, Cage, Jones, Hayes, Okwara, Trumbetti, Mokwuah, Tiassum, MDT, Elijah Taylor, Kareem, Bonner, Ade O. Once again, there is only one player that you could say was a coverted DL and that is Tillery. But once again, he also played DL in HS, just wasn't recruited as such until later in the process.

Once again, I understand being critical of the staff with how this season has gone. But lets at least be accurate with our criticism. Have there been some DL and S's that we've moved from other positions, yes. However, a majority of players at both positions, were recruited to play those positions.

We've had some success moving players around as well. CJ Prosise quickly comes to mind

KeiVarae Russell, Troy Niklas, Theo Riddick and Justin Brent (successful at many positions with Lisa Ann at least)

Morgan, Perry are suppose to go to LB Nico is a special teams player Hayes was a OT. J Jones rated higher as a OT. Tiassum was question would he be a better OG than DT Nick Coleman was a running back I get what you saying there has been some success I guess I should say if you need a play making safety get that not a WR than we home may be a good safety in this class Robertson WR we want to make a safety there were questions about moving Pouncey to S which I thinks has died down If we need a D-end to rush the passer get that not a linebacker that may grow into that. Overall we have missed on defensive players for either off field reason or just not being used properly. Should change with a new DC

Literally, every single example played the said position in HS. Every single one of them. I'm not sure what else they need to do. Send you a letter explaining that they are in fact a S or DL.

This isn't difficult to understand. Although, from your previous posting, it seems like quite a bit is.

you realize most HS players play both ways right?

Good kid overall and has his head on right. But for a school like ND, he should only be allowed to commit the back end of the class. I see him as a high risk, medium reward for playing and contributing
in major CFB. I think he would be a good secondary receiving target at a G5 type school. But major college.... can't see the potential there. At least not yet.

had a great visit per Loy

Auburn offers this one will be over IMO

I wouldn't say a long shot at all, if Auburn or Ole Miss don't offer I think there is a great chance he is in this class.

Another one who talks about the importance of education in all the interviews and then goes to the closest big school that offers? It's one thing to pass on ND and go to Michigan, Cal, UCLA, UVa or UNC where you can still get a great education if you seek it out but Auburn and Ole Miss won't get you an interview for a call center gig 100 miles away from either campus.

I hope you're wrong and i hope ND and Duke stay his Top 2.

Interesting read from a Nigerian website called TrasParent Nigeria dated Jan. 16, 2016:

For Hewitt-Trusville's Noah Igbinoghene, he's aiming for both – just what you'd expect from the son of two former Olympians.

"It's something I've always dreamed about," said Igbinoghene, a speedster also known as "Iggy."

He enters the high school football offseason with seven college offers, the latest from Wake Forest. Igbinoghene said most of his offers include an invitation to run track.

(He also has offers from Duke, Iowa State, Yale, Arkansas State, Troy and Jacksonville State.)

More offers are likely on the way for one of the Birmingham area's rising talents. Igbinoghene, who recently turned 16, finished his junior football season at Hewitt-Trussville with 33 receptions for 522 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed 25 times for 151 yards.

He's spending this winter competing in indoor track. In the spring, he plans to complete in outdoor track. His goal: To set a national record in the long jump and triple jump.

Meanwhile, he's getting faster, catching better and jumping ahead of the competition.

Festus Igbinoghene was a jumper at Mississippi State. Faith (Idehen) Igbinoghene was a sprinter at Alabama.

Both competed for Nigeria in the Summer Olympics. Faith was a part of Nigeria's 400-meter relay team which won a bronze medal. In 1996, Festus competed in the triple jump.

Noah was born in Tuscaloosa. About seven years ago, the family moved to Trussville. His younger sister, Hope, a freshman, also runs track. And watch out for little Michael, still in elementary school.

Classmates and teammates know Noah's sports pedigree. That's why so much is expected of him.

"It's just an expectation that everybody has for you," he said. "They think you're so good, and they expect you to be good already. You have to train like you are."

Noah Igbinoghene wants to follow in the sports footsteps of Marquise Goodwin, who plays receiver for the Buffalo Bills and competed for the United States in the 2012 Summer Olympics (long jump).

Maybe so but Auburn is a really crap school out in the middle of nowhere.

South Bend, Indiana is in the middle of nowhere as well. He's from Alabama and could be a huge Auburn fan. Alabama and Auburn rule in Alabama and maybe he just wants to stay home and play in an offense that would utilize his skill set. Auburn has a very friendly offense for scat backs and gadget type players. Just because he might go to Auburn doesn't take away from the kid still playing football and getting an education for free

I have a friend who grew up in the suburbs of NYC. He went to Auburn and had a great time down there. Also, Auburn is close to Atlanta. From what he told me Auburn is a decent school. Better than LSU, Arkansas, Miss state, UT according to him.

Actually it's a beautiful campus and an easy 2 hour drive from Atlanta. I also would say Tim Cook, current CEO of Apple, would disagree with your description of the school he graduated from.
